Is she good? Anything I need to change?
She's great.
(I'm unsure whether Melanie would be an awesome friend with her or rivals with her…hmm…)
(Thanks!)
If everyone is ready, I can place a starter. But guys, make sure to let others put in responses. I want this to be an organized rp.
(sure thing Bleu)
Atlas walks briskly down the halls, his eyes narrowed, his steps light and quick. His hand rested on a dagger hilt. His breathing was slow and even. He meets up with Commander Voltus, saluting sharply, a hand on his heart. He nods. "Zephyr. I need you to follow me." Atlas nods and jogs after him. "As you know out forces have been held up. You and a fee selected others will go and, so to speak, take out the trash." he says sternly. Atlas nods. "West or East side." he asks. "Mideast." The general replied. The general opens the door to a room. "Alright. All of you. This is Atlas Zephyr. Your team leader." He barks to the waiting members.
Flame arrived at the [I don't know what the place is called] a bit early than others. He wanted to get out of the excuse for a home for a while and this was the perfect excuse to. He paced around the outside for a while before entering into a room and waiting. When the two people came out of the doors and introduced Atlas, Flame nodded, more to himself than to the commander.
Icarus jumped upright in response to the door opening. He sucked in a deep breath to try to steady his energetic nerves. Upon being barked an introduction to his new team leader, Icarus saluted, unsure of what this new commander will be like. He was trying his best not to let his overflowing nervousness show, but clearly, he was failing epically.
Melanie scowled. She didn't like the idea of following instructions. She nodded sternly, having her warhammer slung over her shoulder, tightening and loosening her grip on the handle. "The name's Melanie. Call me Mel if you want." Her voice was harsh, and someone could tell that it would be unwise to mess with her.
Fallon was sitting upside down, legs against the wall. She raised a hand in a small wave, waggling her fingers and grinning wickedly. While orders wouldn't be fun, messing with this new leader would be. So it wouldn't be all bad, just not ideal.
Atlas glances at the group's before nodding to the commander. "I'll give them the basics." He says simply. The commander nods and leaves. He glances at the group "Well then. Let's get started, shall we. We have our first mission."
Flame watched as the commander closed the door behind him before Atlas spoke. "When?" He asked without thinking, he tried to keep quiet but he just wanted all the information at once. He tried to keep his tone serious and deep but failed at that too, having a high and light voice, the one he was trying to get rid of.
"And that is?" Melanie raised an eyebrow, expecting more elaboration than just, 'we have a mission, now go fight these people,' without knowing what she was getting herself into.
Sol was standing at the side, posture stiff and alert. "Mission summary, sir?" she asked, voice emotionless. She believed that emotions were not supposed to go hand in hand with missions, and that you were to treat your superiors with respect. Man, those drills really got to me.
He glances at all of them before folding his arms. "Alright. The basics is, the mid eastern side of the barrier has been overrun by the enemy. It's our job to seal it." Atlas pulls out a holographic map of the area. "Well enter here, through the North, take them by surprise."
"Oh, I like surprises." Fallon said, kicking her legs back and flipping into a standing position. She spun and made her way closer to the map, still grinning as she looked it over.
"How are we going to do that?" Eight asked, standing taller with his hands slightly behind his back. He leaned over and looked at the map, storing a mental image.
“Sir, not to be rude, but we are just a small team. How are we going to defeat the enemy’s army?” Sol asked, glancing at Atlas. She wasn’t being pessimistic, just logical.
Fallon looked up at Sol, eyes alight with mischief as she approached the woman. She placed a finger on Sol's chest, tilting her head a bit. "Aren't you, like, really good with weapons? And a couple of us can do magic, right?" She looked around at the others. "And it looks like we've got a strong as fuck chick there, too. I think, as far as teams go, we got ourselves a good one here."
Melanie knew she would hate the mischievous one the instant she laid eyes on her. She grunted but said nothing as she took in the situation.
((OUCH))
(Oh shush! She's quick to judge people, so her opinion can change!)
