“Then you can’t sleep all day.” She smiled a little.
“Then you can’t sleep all day.” She smiled a little.
“I am used to being awake at night,” Moony defended himself, sitting up slowly.
“Yes but we’re on Earth now. Everything is asleep during the night.”
“That is very strange of them.” Moony stretched.
“Not really though. You can’t see much in the night.”
“I know you can’t. But it is still nice to walk around. It gives the dark better meaning.”
"Mm..I guess you have a point..I still like the light time better."
Moony stretched. “It is much warmer, I will admit that.”
"I thought you liked the cold?"
Moony hummed. “The heat is nice, too.”
"It is nice. Very happy."
Moony stood up, stretching out again. “Alright. Let us go.”
"Yay! Off to find more humans."
Moony nodded. “Should we follow the river up?”
"Okay then." She said, walking over to him and starting to walk along the river.
Moony and Echo walked the river for a while. Soon Moony and Echo both started to feel hungry and weak, since the gravity on Earth makes their appetite much more noticable.
"Where are all the humans? We can't be that far from them.."
Moony frowned. “There has to be someone downstream. That is what mother used to say.”
"We are downstream. We've been walking for a really long time."
“Rivers sometimes empty off into bigger bodies of water, Echo,” Moony corrected knowledgeably.
"Well I didn't know that." She replied, frowning as they walked.
Moony hummed. “Now you do.”
"Yeah. Hey look, the river's getting wider." She pointed out.
Moony looked down. “Indeed it is. Let us speed up.”
Echo nodded and continued following him as the river grew wider and wider.
