"Why not?" She asked quietly, looking up at him.
"Why not?" She asked quietly, looking up at him.
“Because you are from the fire-orb. It makes no sense that your name is Echo.”
Echo shrugged, looking up at the sky again. "Who knows? Maybe I'm from here."
Moony shook his head. “The chances of that are slim.”
"You never know. But probably not. My hair…the color of the sun. Kind of." She said to herself, looking down at her hair.
Moony looked down at her hair too. “If you squint a little.”
"Yours looks like the moon. If you squint a little." She smiled, tilting her head a little sideways.
Moony pulled on his hair. “I guess it does. Yours is just… gold.”
"Yeah..it is." She said, playing with her hair.
Moony shrugged. “If I think about it, it does look like the sun.”
Echo smiled up at him. “Thank you!”
Moony grinned back. “You are welcome, Echo.”
“What do we do here?” She asked, still looking at him.
Moony shrugged. “I think we should stay the dark-time here, then move in the morning.”
“Okay.” She sighed, leaning back up against the rock. “I’m not that tired.”
Moony rocked on his feet, gazing up at the sky. “I am not either.”
“Why do you think we’re here?”
Moony shrugged. “Perhaps it was destiny? Humankind speaks of it a lot.”
“Perhaps it was. Why me though? Why you?”
Moony shrugged again. “I am not sure.”
“Me neither..” She said, staring up into the dark sky.
Moony looked back up at the sky, too. It was a beautiful, cloudless night.
That's nice. Really great. And they stay like that the rest of the night yayyy ok morning!
Echo stirred slightly, having fallen asleep a couple hours ago. She blinked open her eyes and squinted a little before jumping to her feet. "Moon boy! The sun's back!"
Moony stirred awake. He’d fallen asleep before her. “Mmm? Oh, yes. I thought it would come back.”
Echo waved to the sun happily. “Don’t you just love the light time?”
