The Rainbow Café. Opened in 2014, this little café is a safe haven for LGBT teens and adults of all sorts are allowed into its welcoming doors, whether you're an ally, questioning, or know who you are. The Café owner, Xiang Choi, is a warm and welcoming man, who is extremely proud of running this café for 6 years. He's known for having a back room, where homeless teens can stay to keep warm and have a safe place to stay. The food and drinks at the café are delicious as always and the bright eyed male is always open to talking with his customers.
So please, come and enjoy yourself. It would be a pleasure to have you!

RULES (I know we hate them but we need to get them down.)

• Please, no hate, slurs, etc. In real life or the roleplay. This is supposed to be a fun, lighthearted roleplay.
• Swearing is fine, I don't mind it.
• This will be rated pg-14. Romance is fine, but if your characters go do the smexy thing, please take it to DM.
• LGBT Is welcomed. (Obviously.)
• Proper grammar and English are pleaded for.
• More then one sentence please. At least three. I can understand if something is going on, but please, oh please do not give me the bullshit of just two words per sentence.
• Be respectful.
• Real life drama is not wanted. If you need to rant, DM me or something.

Appearance: Xiang has long black hair that reaches the middle of his back, usually kept in a pony tail with bangs framing his face. His eyes are an ocean blue, shaped like a downward angled almond with thick lashes. He has a tiny scar under his right eye and a nick on his upper lip. He has sun kissed skin, and is the height of 5'8 and a healthy weight of 140lbs and a small but lean frame. He's usually seen wearing a button up white long sleeved shirt, the top two buttons undone, black pants and nice dress shoes.
Personality: Xiang is very fatherly like. He's warm and welcoming, and always has a bright smile. He's more then happy to welcome new customers. He's a social butterfly, filled with warmth and comfort.

Name: Rin Naomi

Appearance: Rin is at an average height for women her age being 5'4; her eyes are a pale golden color, if that makes sense. Her eyes shimmer with the golden coloring in the sun, her pupils are a bit thinner than normal ones; her hair is a dark brown color and has long bangs swept to the right and her hair reaches her shoulders. It's occasionally put up in a ponytail; Rin's skin is lightly tanned; she's quite curvy and thin, with some light muscles; has a long faded scar running from her hip to up beneath her breasts
Personality: Rin is fairly nice and fun to be around, just don't make her mad or you might regret it. She doesn't calm down easily and is a bit more chaotic than usual when in this state. If she gets really stressed or sad, she drinks alcohol to ease her mind. She feels horrible in the morning, but it numbs her body and mind when she's drinking it which satisfies her enough. Rin is willing to stick up for anyone she feels a connection to and will fight to the death without resting of she isn't forced to rest. She loves hanging out with people and being out in nature.

Personality: Overall a sweet guy, sometimes a jokester. Can get hurt emotionally pretty easily though but for the most part tries to hide it.
Background:Is a music studio owner with a decent amount of workers. His paretns still don't fully approve his life choices being his job and his sexuality

(just gonna put up a warning sorta thing: I'm no expert in trans people and how all that works exactly, so if I get things wrong, feel free to correct me (please do, actually))

Appearance: Curly brown hair that tends to be rather wild even on the best days. He has bright green eyes, and a ready smile. He's white, with a light tan. He's about 5'8", and thin, with a decently well developed musculature. He transitioned at a rather young age, so there aren't very feminine features in him, save for the fact that his jawline is softer and a little more feminine, and he has no adam's apple. He dresses with a decent eye for fashion, and is killer with a make-up kit, often wearing make-up whenever he desires to.
Personality: Marco is a kind young man, though he has a razor sharp, rather wicked sense of humor. He can be described as an asshole by those who don't know him well, but he never tries to hurt people on purpose, and will always apologize if he realizes he has hurt them.
Background: As mentioned earlier, he was born female. His parents divorced when he was young, and he split his time between their two homes. He first identified as agender, then realized that a masculine label fit him better. His father assisted with the transition, but he kept it hidden from his mother for as long as was possible, knowing that she wouldn't be able to accept that "her little girl" was a girl no longer. (Most of the rest still TBD)
Likes: Sweets; fluffy movies; art; history (he's a history nerd, and it's also what he's studying for college);

Appearance: Dark brown hair that curls away from his face in quiet waves, a pale complexion, tired blue eyes with faded purple half-moons resting underneath, and a slightly crooked nose that didn't heal right after getting broken in a fight. Tall, a skinny build with good upper body strength, and a permanently fixed posture of defeat.

Personality: Introverted, shy, inquisitive, and curious, but knows when to keep his mouth shut. He has a secret love of poetry and literature, though he doesn't often get the opportunity to buy books or find time for the library. He has a hard time opening up emotionally and often lies about his situation just to make things less complicated, and won't fully admit to being currently homeless.

Background: He grew up in the deep south, in a rural little town that mostly consisted of discarded lots, farmland, abandoned gas stations, near-empty grocery stores, and not a lot to do other than attending church or wandering around in the fields. They moved to (wherever we are now) and he fell in love with reading…_{and a boy.} His parents (who held very traditional beliefs) were quietly devastated, and couldn't accept him living with them while he still claimed this was who he was. So, he's been staying at friends' houses and homeless shelters for a little over a year, trying to balance enough jobs in hopes of getting back on his feet, and the possibility of going to college.

Likes: The smell of cigarette smoke, the sound of crickets and cicadas, old books, summer rain, acoustic guitar, sweet tea, a good story.
Dislikes: Winter, Christmastime, action movies, cops, bad coffee, the occasional tornado warning.

Extra: He's got a southern accent, and can memorize almost anything if it's written down.

He has a scar running across the bridge of their nose and under both eyes and another on their left cheek running down onto his neck from a car accident when he was 17. He can often disturb people with his strangely sharp teeth and sometimes hollow eyes.
Personality: Rather chaotic and almost always positive, Mitch can be annoying at times. He is very self-conscious about his scars and background. He is a very loyal friend and will fight unwaveringly for those who support him. He is very open about his opinions. A bit of a dumbass sometimes.
Background: He came out to his family, a well-respected traditional rich family of snobs, as liking men and being trans when they were 17. After various arguments and fights, they disowned Mitch and while driving away from his old home, his car spun out and he was hit side-on by another car. Now he is trying to find a place to stay while his boyfriend, Jared, is at university.
Likes: Coffee, art, piercings, Jared, being supported, dogs, his old school's GSA club, rain
Dislikes: His family, homophobes, secretly afraid of spiders, formal dinners, people taller than him (he is 6 foot 1)
