Xiang glances at the others and smiles. It's good to see that others are getting along. He loved this café. It was his home. He actually lived right above the cafe. He cleaned up previous dishes from earlier, working on treats.

((I’m so sorry but I’m unfortunately going on a 21 day break to get my life back in order. If y’all want to boot me from the role play I understand. Or I could just make up some excuse as to why Elliot’s gone. Whichever y’all prefer.
(Take your time love. You're more than welcome to come back. I might open it again, but that doesn't mean you're kicked out.)
Harper wandered off, walking over to Xiang. "Yo, Hun, you want me to help?" He asked, leaning his head on his hands.
I have an idea, what if some people think that Harper and Xiang are already dating. Probably because of the way they call everyone pet names but mostly each otther?//
Ohhhh yes!//
Xiang looks up and beams. "That would be wonderful dearest." He chuckles softly before moving to the side so Harper could stand next to him.
"Okay!" Harper exclaimed, moving over and standing next to Xiang. "What do you need me to do?" Harper asked, and eager grin on his face,
Melanie watches the commotion and smiles but says nothing as she sits down in a booth.
"Do you mind making helping me with making these brownies? I need more sugar." Xiang smiles warmly at the other. "That would be a huge help, love."
"Of course, dearest! Where is the sugar again?" Harper asked with a small chuckle.
Melanie gets up and walks to Xiang, a little nervous. "Is there any way I could help? I don't really have the money to pay."
"In the back with the other ingredients." Xiang calls in reply. He glances over at Melanie. "Oh don't worry about it love. If you'd like, I'm always hiring. And the bonus is free food and drink." He smiles gently. "And a home if you need one."
((WOOT NEVER MIND I CAN BE ON AN HOUR A DAY
Tyler turned redder. "It's-uh…" he sputters. "It's really hot in here!"
Elliot shrugged it off “whatever you say.” They turned and gave Mel a polite wave, a small smile almost nervous smile appearing.

That's wonderful love!//
((okay so i'm really sorry i can't be on much work and college and shit has been insane i'm really sorry))
Knowing he had a show tonight and should get some sleep, Tyler decided to head home. "Gnite, everyone!" He called as he stepped out into the wind-chilled evening, Elise barking a small farewell as well. The inseparable pair walked down three blocks and crawled into the small apartment that they called home.
"In the back with the other ingredients." Xiang calls in reply. He glances over at Melanie. "Oh don't worry about it love. If you'd like, I'm always hiring. And the bonus is free food and drink." He smiles gently. "And a home if you need one."
Harper nodded, walking back into the area where the ingredients are. Soon enough, a triumphant yell echoed through the kitchen. "I found the sugar!" He exclaimed, coming back with the bag of sugar in his hand and looking like he fought a monster made of flour.
Melanie looked at Harper and had to cover her mouth to stifle a laugh. Even then, it was clear that she'd like it here. Melanie, after laughing, rubbed her eyes and turned to Xiang. "I'd love to work here. Do I need to write a resume of some sort?"
"No need. I know who's dependable just by looking at them. You start tomorrow. Bright and early." He offers his hand towards her. He glances at Harper. "Thank you, love!" He takes the sugar gently and hums as he places them on the table.
"O-oh! Thank you!" Melanie shakes his hand gratefully. "I won't disappoint you, I promise!"
Xiang smiles and nods. "No problem dearest." He places the sugar bag down. "It'll be wonderful to have you work here."
Elliot observed the situation with a small smile. “Welcome to the team.” They hummed happily under their breath.
"Oh, thanks!" Melanie nervously responded. "It'll be a pleasure working here, and… I guess I'll try to open up a little more!" she smiled genuinely.
“Uh yeah no problem…” Elliot’s antisocial personality wasn’t helping this situation at all.
"No, it really means a lot. I'm not really social with people. Well, except for the antisocial, if you know what I mean. Pretty much I don't like to talk in public or in a crowd, but I can manage when there are a few people around." Melanie picked up her jacket she left in the booth, readying herself to leave. "I'm leaving, I'll see you tomorrow, maybe?"
They gave her a small smile. “I’m always here so yeah, you’ll definitely at least see me tomorrow.”
