"Well damn. I would apologize for the loss, but it really doesn't seem like I should based on how pissed you are," the male stated. He took a breath before taking a sip of his liquor again. "But from my perspective… I'd agree that you are indeed lucky."
Gelion shrugged looked around the room then disappeared. "I figured he would do that soon," Kye commented as the demon vanished. "He can materialize for a little bit, but that takes a bit out of him so he can not stay in that state for long. On a different topic, would you mind explaining your job? If you have one anyways."
"Hm…interesting indeed…"
The way the other explained how he originally appeared, perhaps deformities? Jakubiak wouldn't be rude and question it outloud. No, he would simply let his mind ponder the possibilities for the time being. These 'Draconians', as Ichika called them, sounded somewhat like the Dragonkin back in his world.
"Zounds quite zimiliar to vhat are known as ze Dragonkin back vhere I am from. Zo ze Dragonkin are offspring of one parent being a dragon, ze other usually human."
Jakubiak slowly closed his eyes, seemingly releasing a sigh, "Zo, humans and dragons are not on very good terms vith one another."
He let the silence sink in for several moments, then opened his eyes again. There was a distant look in his gaze, not the once curious shine of earlier, "Zere are zill ze few who zeek peace, but ze Dragon King's hatred and bitterness to hold onto ze past has fueled many of a dragons and wyverns heart to fight. All over ze death of ze Queen."
The male gave a disheartened chuckle, "Don't get me wrong, ze Dragon Queen vas loved by many. Zen the fact she vas one of ze last of ze Gold Dragons. Funny how 'trust' can be manipulated, zen shaped for another's benefit."
"Excuse me, I did not mean to ramble on about ze problems of my own vorld. Zere is still one Golden Dragon left, ze deceased Queen's daughter, whom has been zeeking to unite humans and dragons once again. I can only keep hoping zat one day, she succeeds. Zis bloodshed can only last for zo long, before one zide finally gives out."
He had indeed stopped himself before explaining the entire situation of what had exactly had happened back then. He had been around at the time, though not in the area. Jakubiak had only heard of it, as word had quickly spread across their world of the Dragon Queen's death. The death of such a gentle soul, one who's heart had been just as gold as her scales.
Hinata watched the parrot come in smiling softly. All of Mathew’s pets were amazing in her opinion.
"Thanks," she said, taking the files and glancing over them once.
Ichika listened to what this figure had to say about their home world and honestly, the Phantom was quite lucky now that he compared the two worlds; his and the other’s.
He crossed his legs again, tapping his glass of alcohol as he listened.
When the figure finished, Ichika eyed them.
”Do… do you have anything else you wanna ask me?”
The files shown pictures of the event, information and surveys done by the ‘officers’. Most stated that the event happened so fast that they couldn’t react. On the back were the information about the escapists, starting with the previously mentioned ‘Dream Eater’.
Hinata glanced up from the files, looking at Mathew. Then, she looked back at the papers, quietly reading as she sipped her sake.
(The couple has returneddddddd~~~!!!)
(I find it very hard to continue with my character, I apologise. He's an older one so I think I might drop out or switch)
(Simple solution, have your character need to go do something and bring in a new one!)
As Axtin was about to explain, he popped out of thin air. If he had time to explain, he would have stated he was a Contract demon. He really wasn't of any high standings due to his job, but it was something. He had hoped to get in enough time for a drink, perhaps being free from a calling until he returned. That of course wasn't the case.
Oddly enough just as he disappeared, someone else appeared through the doorway. He was also a man, tall and well in shape. A stripe of skin was lighter around the man's neck and his limbs had scattered injuries, most of them old. He wore a simple black tee shirt, similar colored pants, and was currently without shoes. This stranger looked like they barely escaped a battle of some sort. As he looked around the small tavern, the man looked highly confused. There were other people who weren't of the few species he knew of. Looking behind him quickly, he exhaled, relieved at not being followed. Despite the building being a safe place, the newcomer seemed very weary about the others in the room.
Kye blinked at the demon's disappearance, but didn't look to overly shocked. "Good day to you sir," he turned to the newcomer and waved in a friendly way. Or at least what he hoped was a friendly way. "You seem troubled, are you okay?"
The man nearly took a step back. His mind was filled with fear, but there was no way he could return to where he came. Not yet. His left hand tightened into a fist, but he tucked his thumb inside his curled fingers, applying a bit of pressure. It helped him focus. Taking a deep breath, he looked between the small child-like character and the man behind the counter. "I… wish I knew," he replied voice seeming tired. After a second, he took a few steps towards the counter to avoid seeming suspicious himself. Despite his capability to, he would not hurt anyone unless they acted first. He didn't want to hurt anymore.
(So quick fact: He's a species I personally made up which the background will be told in a later response.)

"I have been there before," Kye sighed thinking back. "Not remembering things kind of is the worst." One time before he'd had amnesia, and it was one of the worst experiences of his life.
As bad as it was for you, at least you didn't remember things. I had to then work twice as hard keeping you alive.
Yeah, but you were not having little bits of memories crashing through your head.
No I was to busy talking you out of going into the most dangerous places on the planet, fighting a freaking goddess, attacking your friends, and causing a massive war that would likely get everyone killed. Try and top that.
I had to go to the dangerous places, fight the goddess, fight my mind controlled friends and stop a massive war anyways.
(I'll try and jump back in here with a different character lol)
Another newcomer stepped through the door, twirling a rather sharp dagger in his left hand. He wasn't incredibly young, but he definitely wasn't drinking age. Well, technically speaking, he was, but just in his home country. Europe was a little more lax about alcohol. Anyhow, he slid onto one of the stools, running his fingers through his black hair with a pissy expression. He muttered something quietly to himself in Italian, sighing in frustration.
Calix an angel walked through the door, he wore a cloak that concealed wings and his weapons. He walked in and someone else was following him, they walked right into the door. Calix instantly asked if they were ok and both went to a table quietly.
(DUDE WE HAVE CHARACTERS WITH SIMILAR NAMES)

"Ah… no, that's not what I meant…" the man said, rubbing his forehead with his palm. "I wish I could forget is more accurate," he added, hesitantly taking a seat at the bar.
All of the torture his kind was put through. The bruises and burn marks covering his body was a testament to each and every action. He had no control of his body. His mind could only scream as everything happened.
"Ah, I understand that as well," Kye nodded. "However, it is important to remember that the scars we receive as we walk through life are tools we can use to shape us. Not obstacles to stop us or define us. We always have a choice, and most of the time the right thing to do is much harder. Which is why, I believe, we have so many people that do evil things."
Kid, do you rehearse these things?
No, they come off the top of my head.
You are indeed a wise person.
I do not think I am that wise, I just understand and want to help.
And then you say something like that. Sometimes I think you have the universe figured out, you're just to humble to admit it.
I do not think so. I appreciate the compliment though.
Calixto's eyes widened. How someone could say something like that amazed him. He tightened his left hand in a fist before letting his fingers relax. It really made him think, wondering if there was any truth there. All of that abuse for nearly twenty long years… it really broke a person. The lack of will or compassion. The shadows on the walls had become his friends. Now? He relished the bright and shining stars in the sky. There were indeed more freedoms now, being free… but there was much more time needed to fully heal.
"I appreciate your words. It sounds as if you have experienced much even though we look to be of similar age," Cal said with a light hum.
"I, compared to some, am nothing more than a child that is still learning," Kye shrugged. "I know that I still have much to learn and that I am not all knowing. Where do you come from? If I may ask."
A short figure entered the tavern, no hood to conceal their identity or anything, they weren't an edgy fuck like some people. They had large black and maroon bird wings, folded on their back along with two dragon horns nestled in their black hair next to a bunch of flowers and vines. Their hair was long but tied up in a small bun at the nape of their neck. The person moved to the bar and smiled widely. "A cup of honey please!" Came their cheery voice.
Eventually, Hinata set the pages to the side, her glass empty again. She didn't bother asking for a refill. Her head tilted to the side a little, eyebrows creasing.
"Shit," she mumbled. She stood, taking her jacket off and turning it inside out before putting it back on. Now, it was a bright yellow color.
"If she asks, I'm not here." She ducked off to the other end of the tavern, keeping her back to the door.
Stepping through the entrance was another woman, who looked very similar to Hinata. Their faces were near-identical, but where Hinata was black and gold, this woman was white and blue.
"Is Hinata Hayashi here?" The woman demanded.
(Um actually…)
(Crashes through window.)
(She just left.)
