She walked in just as Sirena said that last sentence. "Well, they called me in," Isobel sighed.
She walked in just as Sirena said that last sentence. "Well, they called me in," Isobel sighed.
“Hey Angel,” responded Ollie with a light chuckle at the look Sirena gave her. “Do you know what’s going on?”
"Nope, if I did, I'd certainly say so," Izzy replied.
“I guess we’ll just have to wait and see then,” Ollie responded, good mood still intact despite the possible lurking danger soon.
Tyson took his car home and got geared up before teleporting over to the headquarters and walking inside, being careful to hide the pretty obvious mannerisms he had outside of costume.
Sirena took her seat at the conference table, "I hope the others get here soon."
"Yeah…" Izzy agreed, fidgeting with her hands under the table.
Ollie hopped into her seat, crossing her legs and sitting like she was an actual queen. “I do as well, so we can get on with this, as much as I enjoy both of your company.”
"Do any of you have any clue as to what this is about?" He asked, leaning against a wall casually.
"No clue," Sirena told him, "You?"
Ollie tried not to show that she had definitely jumped when he had teleported there. “We were just wondering if anyone of us knew, but it seems as though we’re all in the same boat so far.”
"I have no clue, must be important though." he answered shoving his hands into his pockets.
"Sure, if all of us here presently were contacted." Izzy sighed again.
Zarvan came in a few minutes late, just now shoving his mask on as he floated in. "Hey." He hummed, switching from his motherly personality to the chaotic qualities of the Rouge, his hero persona.
Sola arrived a few moments after. She had taken a little longer getting changed into Leona. She sat down at the table and twirled some fire in her fingers, “So we’re all here, why?”
Sirena shrugged, “No clue.”
As the last member was present a hologram appeared in the center of the room. The hologram was an older looking woman with a dead set mouth and stern eyes whom everyone recognized as the league’s leader. She began addressing them, “Now that your all here, Zamira is making a mess of the city and I need you to go stop it.”
The lady disappeared and what was left were a set coordinates showing where Zamira was. Sirena looked at the others, “Can’t believe none of us figured that out.”
"Wow," Rouge drawled, rolling his eyes. "Would've never have guessed that she would be making trouble. None of us would've thought."
Leona let out a short laugh, “Hold your sass Rouge. We all knew it was something along that line, didn’t know who or what though.”
Scream Queen smirked. “Time to go kick some alien butt.”
Meanwhile Zamira was continuing to set things on fire. Maybe she should have tried to the simple “just destroy the city already” strategy earlier, since the heroes clearly weren’t in any kind of hurry.
"Well of course she's stirring up trouble again," Izzy rolled her eyes.
Sparrow was already halfway towards her house when she got the message. She ducked into an alleyway and quickly changed into her outfit, putting on her mask. It was similar to a bird, hence her hero identity being Shadow Bird. She quickly parked her bike and went up to the HQ. "What did I miss?" Because her power was Soundwave manipulation, Sparrow used it on her own voice to make it an sound a little lower than her normal voice without seeming too fake.
On the opposite side of the city, Magnus, better known as The Magician, had turned a few people fear into a reality. There were illusions of spiders, snakes, even children chasing people as he watched from on top of a building, laughing. "Royal Flush." He stated before moving on to a different part of the city.
Zamira paused in her task of setting fire to every building as she heard people screaming. She definitely hadn’t been in that direction. Only one other person in the city would also be causing the chaos. “It’s time I pay the Magician a visit,” she said to herself as she looked for him.
“Just the usual,” Scream Queen answered Shadow Bird. “Zamira’s causing trouble again.”
"Zamira ruined a perfectly good day. She will pay." Shadow Bird growled. She looked around the room, different colours popping out at her as different thoughts ran through peoples heads.
The Magician swooped down to a crowded group of people and took out a deck of cards. Shuffling them in an artistic way, he smiled at them. "Wanna see a trick?" He asked. Without waiting for a response, he raised his staff and the cards flew out of his hand, surrounding the group of onlookers until they were fully enveloped inside a shell like cage. "Was this your card?" He asked and walked away, laughing maniacally.
Zamira smirked. Found him, she thought. “Hello, Magician,” she said from behind him, her hand on her hip. Her voice was tinged with an accent that was hard to place.
“What are you waiting for? Let’s go,” Scream Queen complained, heading out of the building.
Magnus smirked in reply and bowed. "At your service." He brough his hat in front of him and looked at Zamira. "Now, how may I trick you Zamira?" He asked.
"I need Ghost and Angel. Are they here? I didnt see them when I walked in." Shadow Bird responded.
(Hey Shade, is it possible if I switch from Bass player to backup Guitarist?)
(Yep, just give me a sec!)
