He furrowed his eyebrows, pulling away from Floyd.

"Um..Not that I'm not liking this..but..I don't think we should y'know…do this here.." He said, looking around the small open area.

(OH NO WAIT)

Floyd glanced around, suddenly filled with guilt and shape. His cheeks grew flushed with embarrassment, nodding his head quickly. “You’re right,” he said quickly, staring at Cassie’s headstone.

Ace nodded, taking his hand and slowly leading Floyd away from the headstone and down the street,

Floyd intertwined their fingers as they walked. “So where are we going?” He asked in a light tone, rubbing the back of Ace’s hand with his thumb.

"Wherever you want." He said, looking around, the streets had emptied by this time and only a few lights where on in the shops and homes that lined the dirt roads.

Floyd gave a sigh and looked up. “I wish we could go up there. Find you another flower,” he mumbled.

Ace giggled.

"No! I wouldn't want anybody returning to the surface, I don't need to lose you ontop of everything else.." He said, his voice trailing off as he thought.

“I mean, we have to go back up there at some point, right? See if it’s safe conditions for living,” Floyd said, slipping his hand around Ace’s again.

Ace nodded, leaning his head on Floyd's arm.

"Yeah, i just don't want anything happening to you." He said, looking around the place, spotting a middle aged woman hurrying her children inside.

“I’m sure the scientists have come up with something that could protect me,” Floyd murmured, keeping Ace close to his side.

Ace nodded, slipping his hand from Floyd's and wrapping his arms around his middle instead.

Floyd smiled lightly, tugging him along. “You’re so needy,” he said softly, glancing down at Ace. He kept his eyes ahead most of the time, making sure they didn’t run into anyone passing by.

Ace let out a groan, shoving his face in his side.

Floyd laughed softly, grinning down at Ace. “You know I’m right!” He exclaimed, bumping the shorter boy’s hip slightly with his own. As they walked, his mind wandered. He began to think about the future, what would happen with Ace and him. He was close to positive that they would force Ace to marry some girl. What would that make him? The thought troubled him deeply.

Ace notice Floyd had grown silent, and looked up at him worriedly.

"Floyd you okay love?" He asked, reaching to give one of his hands a gentle squeeze.

“I was just thinking..” Floyd started, frowning heavily now. “When you get older and things start to change. You’re going to need an heir sat some point, y’know?”

He sighed slowly, running his free hand over his fac sin a stressed manner. “If we’re still together, what’s going to happen then?”

(aha I picked a page and popped up right in the middle of Floyd and Ace trying to get it on)
