They walked to a fast food place next door.

"You want to eat here?" she asked, pointing to the joint.

"Yeah, why not." he said non emotionally.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, looking at him worriedly.

"yeah. I'm fine."

"You don't sound fine," she pointed out.

"I'm still in a bit of pain." He said then walked up to the counter. "What do you want." He asked Kate.

¨Ever since I was a little girl I looked up to your parents always that they were perfect for each other¨ she said.

He nodded in agreement "despite what most people think, no one can deny the love and passion they have for each other. They're everything I strive to be, both me and my sister."

"I'm still in a bit of pain." He said then walked up to the counter. "What do you want." He asked Kate.

"I don't know, I'll just have something regular."

"What is 'regular' to eat?"

"I don't know. What are you getting?"

"probably a drink and a burger."

"I'll have that."

He got the food and moved over to a table.

She followed his lead with a sigh. "What are we supposed to do now?"

"probably eat the food. Are you ok?"

"I mean with… everything else."

"I have no idea." Jay responded then started to eat.

She sighed quietly and looked out the window.

"something wrong?"

"I don't know. I have this weird feeling."

"ok well. Finish your food. I have to go somewhere. You could go back to the hospital or come with me."
