Avrey smiled, nodding. "Damn, th-that's really cool."
He thought for a moment, wondering whether or not to answer.
"Yeah. I've got a younger sister. "She's uh, my h-half sister, but we're super close." He grinned "We were thinking about s-starting a band before…" He trailed off. "Um… b-before I uh, I volunteered."

"what type of music would you play?" Apollo found himself asking Avrey smiling, the tips of his ears were slightly red, indicating the asking of the question made him nervous, as the question was kind of personal.
Avrey shrugged, smiling faintly. "I guess just indie, alt, modern psychedelia,…" he laughed a bit. "We kind of were all over the place." He said timidly as he tugged at his collar. "it didn't work out though."
Apollo gave a shrug as he smiled.
"Happens to the best fo us" he said with sympathy "though im sure you would have been great" he added honestly "I heard you earlier" he admitted while blushing "you were pretty good" he added with a faint grin.
Avrey blushed hard, looking down at his shoes again. "Shit… I-I really have to learn how to be quieter…" He smiled faintly, daring not to look up at Apollo. "Th-thanks though."
"no problem" Apollo said with a smile, the tips of his ears turning slightly red.
"I like your voice" he squeaked then looked away quickly.
Avrey turned an even deeper shade of crimson as the smile he was holding back suddenly appeared on his face. He folded his arms tightly, feeling his face get warmer.
Not really knowing what to say, he muttered a "thank you" again, then debated saying he could sing for apollo again
Holy balls, sing for him?? You will not say that, Avrey Kingsford if it is the last thing you do I swear to god

Apollo nodded politely and turned back to his phone, scrolling through his art account he checked his newest post, fanart of the kids from 'Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children' though the post had over four hundred likes, Apollo scrolled through the comments, some contained the discretion people thought containing some things such as "fake" and "I bet you used someone else's art to set up the positions" and other small petty things, he sighed but went to his sisters page, where she had just posted a picture of the sunset just this morning, the sheep pen on their farm back home visible slightly in the top left corner.
Addic watched Avery and Apollo's conversation with a mild interest. But, after zoning out for the third time in three minuets, he figured he needed to do something. Looking around at the other people, Addic thought about tying to get Tara into a conversation again, but the look on her face quickly ruled that out for him. Next he looked to Taz. He had seemed nice enough, if not protective. Addic stood up and walked over to him, giving Avrey a wink as he left. "Hey, is this seat taken?" He asked, motioning to the spot next to Taz.
