She wasn't expecting that and gasped softly when he did

"I warned you, and you chose to poke me anyway." he released her wrists and sat back beside her, "I like the perserverance, but be more careful next time".

She stuck her tongue out and settled back into the couch

He raised his eyebrow when she stuck her tongue out but got up to check on the food on the stove. The ravioli was nearly done and he clicked the burner off on the alfredo sauce to keep it warm but not over cook it. He opened a couple cabinents and found glasses and bowls and set them next to the stove top and waited for the food to finish cooking.

she tossed her head back to look at him and smiled softly

"What do you want to drink?" he asked, filling one of the cups with water for himself.

"Water" sge said with a soft smile

"You just had to make it easy for me" he said with a small smile, and filling the second cup with water and set them back on the counter and turned off the second burner on the stove. "Food's done".

She nodded going to get off the couch

He found a strainer and strained the noodles and put some on each bowl. He handed her a bowl of noodles and waited for her to get her sauce before he got any.

She grabbed the plate and scooped herself some sauce

"Careful not to put too much, you wont shit right for a week if you get too much" he said with a gentle laugh.

she slowly turned to him and punched him in the shoulder, giving him a smirk and turning back around

"Ow you hurt me, im gonna go cry now" he said, crossing his arms across his chest and fake pouting.

" you go do that hot stuff" she said taking her fu plate to the couch to eat

His head perked up a little bit when she called him hot stuff. "So you think I'm hot then?" he scooped some alfredo on to his noodles and walked over to the livingroom waiting for her answer.

" let's be honest everyone at school thinks your hot" she said resting her arm on the back of the couch as she looked at him

"Your opinion is the only one that matters right now though isn't it?" he said, sitting beside her.

" what do you mean im just the nerdy girl that you see because our lockers don't have backs and the few classes we have together" she said

"Well im sitting on the nerdy girls couch, asking her opinion. Not the opinion of the entire school." he said, completely seriously.

"Well blake if were being completely honest I think your the hottest guy at school " she said looking at him

"I- what?" he coughed as he choked on his own disbelief.

She giggled in embarrassment " yeah" she said and looked down

"Well shit" he said, setting his food down on the coffee table. "Do you really mean that?"

She nodded still not making eye contact her cheeks red with embarrassment
