Kailani shrugged. "If I do not see you by the time the sunsets, I will look for you." she told the girl as she left. And then she headed into town, scanning the allies and shadows, her eyes growing dark, fully black. She'd rather see what lurked in the shadows, sacrificing better sight in the day. She caught a glimpse of something as she passed. But she was not ready to face a vampire. If she didn't have to, she wasn't going to.
A small black cat padded out from a shadow after the girl passed, staring at her back, then walking away. She seems interesting… Keep an eye on her. It headed into a small clearing, its form growing larger and larger until it grew into a girl with bright blue locks, shoulders slightly hunched after so many hours of crouching over. Aisha straightened out, moving her shoulders around slightly. I think that was everyone. The boy with the cane, the girl with the notepad, among others…
(Also, just added down his sexuality. Imm just jump in)
Corbin was leaned up against a tree, his leg aching. He held the military issued rifle in his hand, his head tilted downwards. Work was slow that day. But he supposed that was a good thing. Orion was laid by his feet, resting as well. He smiled down at the fluffy looking dog, thinking that he would need a bath later.
A shadow flickered in the corner of Kailani's sight but she didn't pursue it. She didn't have to, if someone or something decided to attack her, it would appear again, and then, she would lend herself to action. Until then, it was wise to remain relaxed.
Sosdovah's patience was finally rewarded. Sure enough, a female started into the town. A grin crossed his face, once again his body seeming to tremble with anticipation. This is what had been waiting for, the prey to finally come to him. His form still remained one with the shadows around him the alleyway. Though, as he remained hidden, his eyes noted a 'black cat' suddenly appear, staring after the prey he had marked in his sight.
His forked tongue flicked out, testing the air. The male's lips curled back in disgust. Great, another vampire…
The male's voice was a soft hiss as he watched the 'cat', "Move along little kitty…I set my eyes on that morsel first…"
Then, as if on cue, the black cat turned, taking off into a different direction. Whatever it was doing (he didn't know the gender, only thing he knew was that it was competition), as long as it didn't get in his way, Sos would leave them alone. Once he was certain the other was gone, did he finally make his move. now it was just a choice of how he wanted to approach. He allowed the various scenarios to run through his mind, before finally coming to a decision.
The dracopyre waited a bit longer, trailing behind the girl, remaining in the shadows. Only now it was time to have a bit fun. Sos knew he had the advantage, but why kill the prey right away, when one could play with it?
So he finally made his move. Sosdovah decided to perhaps toy with the prey, make them see things that were perhaps there, or perhaps not. Only he would know. He moved swiftly in and out of the shadows. Purposefully he allowed a slight glint of his scales to be seen in the shadows, but quickly disappearing again. The dracopyre released a soft hiss which seemed to echo along the stone walls around him.
It was time to make the prey paranoid, maybe if he had a good one, drive them downright mad. Humans could have such weak minds.
The waiting was getting tedious. Corbin pushed off the tree, grunting as he began to walk back towards the road. His car had been parked there, just inside of a town. He made sure Orion was following as he relaxed a bit, seeming to let his guard down.
Kailani knew there was trouble before she saw it, before she heard it. She knew. That shadow was more than what it seemed, seemingly harmless beforehand. No anymore. Kailani took a deep breath as she watched her peripherals, the flashes of darkness more frequent than not. Vampire… she thought as her lips curled, not into a sneer though, but into a smile. No, she did not have back up, but what she did have was skill. It was imperative to know her enemies, and finally, they decided to stop hiding. She caught a flicker of…. scales. A hiss echoed, bouncing of the stone walls of the town. Kailani stopped, her head swiveling as she turned to looked behind her, her eyes black and searching. Where are you… Her eyes ate up the shadows beyond her. "I know your there…" She said aloud.
Fiona sat in the tree and waited again, she cursed herself for not killing the vampire when she had the chance. I only need to last 48 hours… she thought to herself and grabbed one of her knives, she sliced a small branch off of the tree and started whittling another arrow for her bow, waiting for someone or something to come by.
Ianthe steps towards him, placing the cane on the ground next to him and taking out her notebook. She flips through its pages until she stops on a page titled "Fixing". There are detailed drawings of runes, annotated in minuscule writing.
Then, she hesitates. She's unsure if she should help. It would be the right thing to do, wouldn't it? She thinks to herself. But self-preservation is the most important thing right now.
She turns to leave but stops again. I mean, he has had opportunities to kill me before. Maybe I should return the favour?

Yve has just sat down and is trying to unscramble his broken leg, grumbling. He gets it to straighten out and then reaches for his cane to he can get up. He grumbles and curses to himself and the air heats up when he gets angry, but not my much.
Ianthe jumps back, dropping her notebook as she does so.
((Sorry it's not much I'm trying to multitask))
Fiona continued to sit in the tree and whittle, she had finished her first arrow and was starting her second, counting down the minutes until she could get out of here as she did.
He grabs his cane and heaves himself up again, balancing on his leg.
“Pardon me, I think I am going to go and cry in shame.” He complains, limping back towards the town, making the air warm around him.
Ianthe picks up the notebook and follows a little way behind him. She writes I could help you with your leg if you like on a piece of paper, then gives it to him.
“It’s alright, it’s just seized up. I don’t usually walk a lot.” He says, sighing. He pauses to lean against a tree and his cane, looking bothered. This isn’t his usual environment, it’s clear.
She flips back to the fixing runes page, and walks over to him, holding up the page. This could help if you want, she writes.
He shakes his head. “No thank you.” He whispers, frowning. He leans on his cane and stretches his real leg.
“It’ll be okay, it will calm down soon.” He says. “I’m going to go into down and look around some more.” He says, sighing.
Ianthe nods, and walks back towards the town, keeping to the shadows. After a few minutes, she sees Kailani and smiles, walking over to her.
Ianthe Kailani gives a breath of relief and returns the smile. She sets close to the girl and asks, "Can I see your notebook? Or just give me a page and something to write with. " Her eyes reverted back to their yellowish green.
Fiona sighed and decided to go out anyway, whether it was safe or not. She jumped down from the tree and started walking deeper into the forest, her bow drawn and ready to shoot at anything that moved.
Ianthe Kailani gives a breath of relief and returns the smile. She sets close to the girl and asks, "Can I see your notebook? Or just give me a page and something to write with. " Her eyes reverted back to their yellowish green.
Ianthe tears out a page and hands it to Kailani, along with a pen.
Kailani smiled in thanks and scribbles a quick note.
I will not say this aloud. Something is watching me….well watching us. Beware what you see and stay alert.
She handed it to Ianthe and returned the pen. "I saw some good supplies not too far, in a store down that way." she pointed to the left.
Ianthe reads the note and nods, trying to act calm. She clenches her fists in an attempt to stop her hands shaking. She nods again and starts to walk to the left.
Kailani gave a sympathetic look and followed after her. It filled her with dread to really think of the whole situation. Two days, life and death…
A little way away from the store, Ianthe stops and writes in her notebook. There might be people here, so we should be careful.
