(Alright then.)
Bridgett smiled at the new girl who had walked in. "Yeah, it's good. What's your name?" She asked.
Bridgett glanced at Jay who was hiding his face from the new girl
“My name is kamryn but you can call me Kam!” She saw the young boy hide his face and became slightly suspicious of his behavior
Jay looked up at the girl nervously, the red mark on his face blossoming into a bruise. His pained, tired eyes locked with Kamryn's for a moment before he had to look away. She might figure it out, like Bridgett… you mustn't tell either of them anything…
(Frens?)
(Hi!)
(OH HI)
(Wanna talk to awkward crying Jay?)
(Henlo?)
(Yo, I've returned. Sry, I was camping)
(Give me awkward crying Jay. But we also need Kam now for this conversation)
"Nice to meet you, Kam! I'm the owner of this library, Bridgett. Can I help you find something?" She asked cheerily, drawing attention away from Jay.
(Henlo?)
(Sorry I left)
“No not really, I needed to do some work with kids for a job application so I thought the library was the best place to go however the only kid here is Jay.” She replied smoothly
"Oh, alright." Bridgett said, smiling. "Well, I can have a day set up for sometime in the next few weeks where I'll invite the kids in the area. Would that be helpful?"
“I guess so unless Jay here doesn’t mind me reading to him and working with him for the next few hours?” She asked turning to jay as she spoke
"If it's alright with him…" Bridgett responded nervously. She wasn't sure how she felt about Kam. She turned to Jay also to wait for his answer.
(anyone alive today?)
(Hey, Im new and I'd like to join.)
This new place startled Allison. The form she had taken, the way it had come about… it startled her. Allison didn't like it. She needed to get home. Although, Marcus would not be happy to see her. He wouldn't be happy with her after what she did. A large building stood in front of her. A strange place. There was a word on the wall. "Library" it read. Allison slowly walked towards the door. As she entered, it didn't look anything like a library from home. The words were on paper rather than a drive. It had been a while since Allison had read that way. Marcus forbade her from doing so.
She saw a woman who looked similar to her. A small plate on her shirt read what Allison thought to be her name. "Bridgett" was the name of the woman. Allison saw her talking with two others, and stood a little far behind Bridgett watching to see when she finished this conversation. She also saw others in the library, and hoped that someone would come and explain this place.
(Is jay gonna respond or should I take that as a no?)
(I think Jay will, I just don't know where they are. @Smol_Snake where are you?!?!! )
(Sorry was at the beach)
"Um, s-sure…" Jay managed to look the others in the eyes again, his face bruising. He put a hand to his cheek absently, sort of trying to hide the mark as he was always taught to hide the others. The bruises beneath his oversized clothes twinged at the thought.
(Henlo?)
(Sorry won’t be in tomorrow I have a formal breakfast to go to and a formal picnic to go to after so I’ll be busy sorry! Although I give permission to move my character around!)
(Okay)
(Briiii?)
(Sorry!! I haven't been checking, I'm back!)
Bridgett looked from Jay to Kam and back. Nervous lines creased her forehead slightly. "…Okay, then. You sure?"
She glanced to the side at the newest person to walk into the library. She raised a finger to indicate that she'll be there in one minute.

Allison saw the finger and didn't realize what it meant. Instinctively, she thought to grab her weapon, but… thanks to Marcus that option was off the table. She then hid behind the bookshelf, scared. "Oh this is hopeless. I know nothing about this place! He sent me here so he would never have to deal with me again… but I deserve it. How am I supposed to go back if I can't get help from this Bridgett woman?" she whispered ever so quietly to herself before pushing her hair away from her face, and peeking back at their conversation.
She noticed the boy by Bridgett. The mark on his face was noticeable momentarily before he covered it back up, Soon after, the stuff she had picked up from her mother, a doctor, began to fill her mind. There was quite a bruise, recent due to its color. Seems to be done purposefully or he wouldn't be hiding it. Most likely candidate for assailant: parent or older sibling. If it were older sibling, the parents would have gotten it fixed. Allison felt pity for him soon after, but dared not speak. She still waited behind the bookshelf, thinking about what Marcus would do if she did manage to return home…
