Tyler watched as the group of kids talking to the hot guy ran out of the cafe, before turning back to the hot guy yet again. He was sipping his coffee slowly. Suddenly, this guy seemed familiar - Tyler was convinced he'd seen him with Alex a few times.
Slowly, Tyler came up to him. 'Hey, I think I recognise you. Are you Alex's friend?' he asked, worried that this was a complete stranger.
(I guess I’ll have Yeon know who that is)
Yeon looked up from his drink when hearing the voice. He looked at the the man’s curly, blue hair for a moment with a raised brow before sitting up straight. “Yeah, you know him?”
'Of course, Alex has been my best friend since I was about twelve! We went to school together,' explained Tyler, sitting down opposite the hot guy. 'How do you know Alex? Let me guess, he tried to flirt with you in a - I don't know, McDonald's - and ended up making a fool of himself. He's known for being a bad flirt.'
Yeon snickered sharply at that and shook his head. “No, I haven’t known him for long, anyways. Went to the soccer fields with some friends, him and another guy were there. So, we invited him to come play with us,” he explained.
'He must have been with Billie, they always go down to the football fields,' replied Tyler. Then, he realised he'd called it football. 'Oh, I mean soccer. I'm not used to calling it that, I'm British. Anyway, what's your name?'
“Don’t worry about it, I know what you meant,” Yeon responded, pausing to take a long drink of his coffee. “And I’m Yeon Rivera. You?” He asked, noticably rolling his r’s almost unintentionally.
Yeon. Hot name, thought Tyler. 'I - uh, I'm Tyler. Tyler Williams. There's a slight chance you might have heard of me - I'm in Alex's band, if he's ever spoken about it.'
(Have to go for a bit, I should be on later, though.)
Yeon grinned slightly, arching a dark brow. “Band, huh? Alex never mentioned anything like that to me specifically. What do you play?” He asked.
(Okay, I'll just get my character to say some stuff and then we can carry on once you're back.)
Tyler smiled, happy that he was interested. 'I'm on the drums. Alex plays the piano, but he also sings. Our friend Billie plays bass and does vocals, and our friend Jay, they play the guitar. Our style is sort of alternative - some of it's a bit My Chemical Romance, some of it's more Panic! At The Disco… I'm rambling, sorry. What music do you like, then?'
(Alright, cool.)
“Drums huh? Pretty cool. And alternative is good, I don’t listen to much, though. I practically grew up listening to anything Hispanic, so I tend to listen to Latin Trap music. Not that popular in most of the country, but it’s something a good chuck of the Hispanic community loves,” Yeon gladly explained, as he loved to talk about his nationality.
'I've never listened to Latin Trap music, but that sounds cool. Where are you from?' asked Tyler, noticing that Yeon seemed very enthusiastic.
Seeing as no one was in line, Charlotte ran to her backpack in the back to put her Etch A Sketch away.
“You really should, It’s amazing. I was born in America, but all of my family is from Cuba,” Yeon explained with a proud grin.
Lloyd read through the chapters absently, drinking the coffee occasionally. Sometimes, he felt like he got by with coffee and anxiety alone.
(lloyd r u ok ur not talking to anyone)
'Cuba? That's cool. And yeah, I might go listen to some Latin trap later. Any artists you recommend?' asked Tyler. He leaned on the table more, interested in what Yeon had to say.
(Yeah Lloyd's pretty socially awkward he's just like 'imma read here.' lol)
Lola sat down at a window seat, sipping her coffe and taking out her notes to study for her test.
She returned to the counter, leaning her elbows against it. Ugh…I could fall asleep right now….
After about fifteen minutes, Lola gave up and took out a coloured marker previously concealed in her bun, doodling on the back of her hand.
(I do this all the time)

Yeon looked to be in thought as he considered the question. “Definetly Maluma and C. Tangana, those are good artists,” he responded, finishing his coffee.
Tyler sipped at his hot chocolate again. He'd never heard of Maluma or C. Tangana, but he was willing to check them out. 'I'll have a listen, as long as you go listen to people I recommend - Green Day and Panic! At The Disco.'
Yeon laughed a bit and nodded his head slowly. “Alright, Tyler, you have yourself a deal,” he declared. He didn’t tend to listen to American music often, so this would be different for him.
Lola hummed quietly to herself as she finished her coffee and cinnamon roll, swinging her feet.
Tyler smiled. 'You know, you're pretty cool. How old are you?' Tyler was getting quite interested in this guy and hoped he wasn't much younger or older than him.
