(Oh cool. Yeah, I've never heard of them before lol. Guess I just like the British)
“Never heard of them, what sort of genre are they?”
"Pop rock I guess. It's hard to explain."
“I’ll give them a try.” She smiled.
Charlotte smiled, standing up and crossing her arms.
(Idk what to do)
(I mean I'd join in but idk whether I can yet)
(Idk what to do)
(you could just go sit down….?)
(Yeah, I guess so)
Lloyd walked quietly into the coffee shop, a heavy bag of books slung over one shoulder. He adjusted the strap as he waited in the line, glancing at the other people in the shop.
Charlotte looked up and smiled fakely at the boy who had just walked in. My mouth is going to hurt so much when I get home…
Once Lloyd made it to the front of the line, he prepared himself to order. He hated ordering things, it always made him anxious, but it was necessary. "Um, I-I'll just have a coffee please. Black is fine." He adjusted his bag again so that the strap wasn't digging into his shoulder.
She smiled a little more, sensing the boy's anxiousness. "Coming right up." Charlotte impatiently tapped her foot as the cup filled up with coffee. This thing is way too slow… Once it filled up, she put a lid on it and handed it to the boy. "Two dollars and ten cents."
"T-thank you, miss." Stop stuttering, you idiot. You're ordering coffee. It's not that hard. Lloyd counted out the money and handed it to the barista, his hands shaking a bit. Then he hurried over to an empty table in the corner and pulled out a science textbook, reading it while he waited for the coffee to cool off enough for him to drink.
Charlotte watched as the boy walked off. What is he reading….a science textbook? Huh. Well, I can't judge. She looked over at the Etch A Sketch on the counter.
Lloyd instinctively flipped to the chapter on chemistry. He had always enjoyed the experiments with chemicals in class, but there were always those few people who had to go and ruin it for everybody by throwing chemicals on him or something. He had a couple scars from that, actually. Maybe the guys in his class were just jerks.
(Hello? I'm not the only one on, am I?)
Hey! I gtbsoon tho)
(Rip)
(I’m around but Yeon is just kind of quiet right now?)
(Maybe he and Lola could talk? Idk)
(hey I'm here for a little bit but then I have to leave for most of the day)
Hey )
(Hey, I am back) Tyler noticed the hot guy winking at him and blushed before looking back to his computer. When he turned back, he saw the guy in conversation with a kid. I better not interrupt them, then, he thought to himself.
(Aye, Welcome back)
Yeon watched the group leave to get snacks, and one of the older boys scurried back, now speaking in English. “You better not get seen here by anyone else from the neighborhood!” The younger boy cried with a grin.
“Now, why’s that?” Yeon asked in his slightly thick accent.
“Because everyone here is whi-“ The boy started, but Yeon cut him off.
“Can’t say that stuff here, hermano,” He then lowered his voice to a murmur, “they can get upset easily by those things,” he said, causing the boy to burst into laughter. The group waved goodbye before running out of the cafe quickly, and Yeon chuckled.
