“Yeah? I’ll have to learn some of that, never really played things like that before. I use an acoustic gutair and play more lively, Hispanic style music,” Yeon said, eyes trained on Alex. Seemed like everyone had wild hair colors.

'We could do something like that,' suggested Tyler.

Yeon shrugged his shoulders loosely. “Only if you all want to.”

'Yeah, we're sort of doing the same things at the moment, I'd like to mix it up a little,' agreed Jay. Billie nodded along with them.

A smile spread across Yeon’s face at that. Most were not as accepting of his heritages’ music, though he couldn’t understand why. “Great, I’m excited,” he said, shifting in his seat.

'This is pretty cool,' said Tyler, sipping his drink. 'We've got practice on Wednesday, so you can come along to that and we can start on a new song.'

Yeon nodded eagerly and leaned forward against his elbows. “Have any of you heard Hispanic music before?” He asked with interest.

'I don't think so,' replied Alex, deep in thought. 'I just sort of stick to my emo stuff.'

“I know what you listen to, hermaño,” Yeon said with a laugh, looking at Alex before turning his attention to the rest. “What about the rest of you, huh? I already know you don’t, Tyler.”

'Same stuff as Alex and Tyler,' said Jay, finishing off their frappe. 'I guess that's part of why we formed the band, cus we all like the same music and played well together. But I do need to listen to other stuff.'
Billie nodded along. 'I listen to some rap music as well, a bit of J Cole, Tyler, the Creator, bit of that sort of stuff.'

Yeon nodded slowly as he listened, getting the urge to call out how uncultured they seemed, but he decided against it. Americans weren’t that open to music in other languages that often. “Well, I’ll gladly introduce you all to some good artists. There’s a female singer, Selena, one of the most popular. Heard of her?”

'Rings a bell,' mumbled Tyler. 'I'll need to add some to my playlist.'

Yeon nodded and grinned. “Amazing woman, terrible that she was shot by some psycho,” he said, scratching at the back of his neck.

Tyler made a shocked face. 'Oh, god, that's terrible.'

Yeon nodded slowly. “It was pretty terrible, she was young, too,” he continued, drinking his water.

'That's pretty bad,' Alex said as he finished off his drink.

Yeon hummed in response, finishing the rest of his water in one long drink.

'Any other artists? If you recommend some songs, I could have a listen and look at some chords and shit online,' suggested Jay. The others nodded in agreement.

“Well, if you do like rap, then I suggest Maluma, he’s really good,” Yeon said, brows furrowed in thought. It was difficult to choose just one or two favorites to tell them about.

'I'll have a listen,' said Tyler, stirring the ice in his cup with his straw.

(Ahhh that’s a good one! GPS by Maluma is also great)

Yeon grinned brightly, glad that they seemed to be taking interest in the music. “Great!” He said, checking the time on his watch. It wasn’t even that close to it being later in the evening.

(will have a listen to some more, i might add a bit of his music onto my playlist so its not just all depressing shit and american rappers)
Tyler checked his phone. 'Shit, it's getting a bit late. I should probably be heading back.' He began to stand, stretching his arms. 'I'm taking the day off tomorrow. You guys could stay round.'
'Nah, I've got classes tomorrow,' said Jay.
'Same here,' mumbled Billie.
'I'm staying at Kellin's,' explained Alex.
Billie wiggled his eyebrows at Alex. 'Oooh, and why haven't we heard of this Kellin guy?'
Alex shook his head and muttered, 'Shut up.'
Turning to Yeon, he asked, 'You staying round?'

Yeon chuckled softly as he watched them argue before turning his attention to Tyler. “Of course, got nothing better to do,” he said with a shrug.

'Okay…' Tyler thought for a moment. 'Shit. Where did I leave my motorbike?'

“I think back by where the parade started,” Yeon said, arms folding across his chest.
