Brix smirked over at Caya. "Well, well… partner."
"Shut up," she muttered and walked onto the stage with him.

Killian looked at the announcer

Peipe anxiously bit her lip.

(Sorry about that. Magie? What kind of name is that? Anyhoo…)

"The Water tributes are Ara and Piro." Ara grinned.

"The Fire tributes are Killian and Peipe."

"And last, but certainly not least, the Earth tributes are Era-Lee and Diren." Era-Lee gulped. Her brother stared at her.

Diren's mouth opened and he laughed soundlessly. He was going to fight. In the Games. He was going to kill people or he was going to be killed. He stood, trying to see who he was going to have to convince.
Piro blinked, that was it. He uncrossed his arms. He stood up and rubbed his mouth absently. Picked for the Games. He dropped his hand and looked at it, wondering numbly how much blood was going to get on it.

Ara smiled, baring her teeth. Her entire being thrummed with excitement and adrenaline.

Jenson stared at his sister. "Whose going to take care of me? Of Mom? You didn't think this through, did you?"
Era-Lee looked down. "If I win…" she said quietly.

Killian looked at Peipe "we're going to die." He stated

Peipe looked back at him with wide eyes and started to tremble. "I don't want to die," she whispered.

"I dont either. But at least your training is going to be useful." He said

"Killian, I don't want to die!" she whimpered.

Killian Hugged her "you wont. I'll make sure of it." He said the last part quietly to himself

She curled against him, trying find any sense of protection she could.
