Alex grabbed nevas hand and walked her over to Brutus's cage "you going to get his stuff?"

" yeah"

"Alright I'll wait out here." She said kissing nevas cheek and down in front of the cage

Neva went to to get brutus's things

Alex opened the cage and pet the dog as she waited for neva

Neva came back still crying " I have a month before I leave

"Then we'll make this the best damn month." She said looking at her

" alright," she gave a soft smile

"Everything will be fine." She said looking away from neva and glanced at Brutus who was siting in her lap

" he loves you"

"Everybody does~" she said jokingly

" nah, just him"

"Wow ok I see it is, you can walk home."

" it's a five minute walk."

" it's gonna rain by the time we get home and ill lock the door."

Alex stuck her tongue out at neva before turning back to Brutus

Neva sighed and set his things down, walking out of the room

"Babe..wait I was just messing with you." She said getting up and walking after neva
