Ellen nodded. "So we could make a dash for it down there…" She glanced at the door before looking at him. "Would that work?"
“We should go on the mail truck when it comes. The night guards will be switching with the morning crew and they will be trying to help the mail delivery. So if we hide in the back we can get out but you will need different clothes.” He looked st her attire.
She frowned at her clothes. "Okay… I've got some other clothes I can switch into."
“Good. Do we go tomorrow then?”
Ellen nodded. But her mind suddenly found multiple questions. "What if we get caught? Now that I think about it, are there any alarms? What about motion sensors, and security cameras?"
“They don’t check the cameras unless we give them a reason too. We will be gone before they realized we left.”
Ellen nodded, the paranoid part of her brain calming down at the answer. "Okay then James. Sounds good." She sat down on her bed.
James looked around like he was analyzing the room. He did this a lot.
Ellen kneaded the blanket with one hand. "I don't think I told you my name…"
“You did not. I have perfect recall,”
Ellen nodded. "Okay. My name's Ellen. Ellen Weaver."
“You are Ellen Weaver.” He nodded.
"Yup. Say, what do you plan on doing when we leave this loony bin?" Ellen continued kneading the blanket.
(Are you still on Typhoon?)
(Oh yeah I am sorry got distracted)
"Yup. Say, what do you plan on doing when we leave this loony bin?" Ellen continued kneading the blanket.
“I do not know. I do not have a plan,”
(That's okay dude!)
Ellen nodded. "Are we taking Heather? She's not a psycho, maybe, but she's kind of weird. And she smokes."
James shrugged, “that is up to you.”
"I don't want to." Ellen drew up her knees against her chest. "She's like Aunt Alex."
