He noticed that there were barely any people on the streets and the air had a yellowish haze to it. The few people walking around were wearing cloth over their faces to protect themselves from the disease and ambulance sirens could be heard every second he was there. It was like a living nightmare.
Kameo pushed his way into a quarantine facility and pretended to be a doctor. The beds were filled with sick people and in some cases, dead people. In one of the rooms, dead bodies piled up in a rotten bundle. The patients who weren't dead still looked dead. With rotting flesh and sagging skin and a yellow tint to their eyes, they called out feverishly in their beds. Kameo shuddered and walked towards the back, where the newly infected patients stayed.
(Maybe the next day, after the break that they have, Lucian runs tests on her blood? Someone needs to actually tell him about the plague though, he was holed up in his office when it was being mentioned)
(Yeah, Okay)
Cicada watched as the man entered the quarantine facility, Great, now I have to wait for him to exit. Cicada waited on the roof outside of the quarantine facility for the strange man to return. She thought she might swipe his gloves, they looked easy to grab and she could easily get enough money to leave this sector on a ship.
The newly infected had a different look to them. The look of hope. He walked through the aisles of beds and studied each patient, deciding which one to take with him.
"Kameo?"
Leah paced the deck of the boat as the crew rushed around, checking the rigging and the masts. She desperately wished that Joanna hadn't taken her bottles from her room. There was nothing to keep her hallucinations away. Leah's hat was back on, shadowing her face as she called out orders to the crew.
His heart stopped. That voice.
(Oof, gotta go in ten or so)
(hello guys. I think I know whats going on rn but I did miss some stuff.)
Cicada figured something heartfelt and mushy was happening inside because otherwise that man would be out of there by now. At least that's what normally happened.
( Welcome back! Yeah, we're just stopping in a sector and Leah is having hallucinations and problems! throws confetti
(Topaz)
OH MY GOD IS IT ACE?!?!)
( yesssssss )
(I don't know who Ace is, but Yay!)
(Oof, gotta go in ten or so)
Aw okay ):
Daso made his way to the deck, yawning. He'd fallen asleep. Again. It'd been hellish, but at least he wasn't exhausted. He glanced around, wondering if Kameo had already left for Divo.
(I knew you would freak out lol)
Kameo walked over to the source of the voice, kneeling down by the bed. It was just another patient, with yellowed eyes and a few patches of rotting flesh. But his purple eyes were still as beautiful as ever.
"Ace?"

( Aw, this is adorable )
Leah continued to mutter random things as she saw misty outlines of her family walking across the ship. She shook her head and focused her gaze on the sector of Divo.
(Awe, oh my god)
"Captain?" Daso called out, spotting her. She looked kind of troubled. He hoped she was okay. "Has Kameo docked at Divo yet?"
