(Heyo good morning!! I miss so much at night oops)
Morrigan shifted awkwardly under Lucian’s gaze, wishing she could be as composed as him. “So, you’ll take an hour and a half off work tomorrow?”, she asked shyly, fiddling with one of her bangles. She moved to lean against the back of the chair but immediately moved forward again when the wood dug into the cuts along her shoulders.
(Oh god, same here lmaoo. And yes, another doctor! With the mention of a plague, Lucian will need a lot of help..)
Lucian nodded, his foot tapping the floor. “Mhm, an hour and a half. Whatever you want to do the whole time,” he replied. He watched her movements closely, noting mentally how she almost seemed to flinch forward. He would have to remind himself to write that down in her file later.
Kameo heaved his bloody self into a protective suit and threw on his gas mask. They were uncomfortable, but contingent to his process. He also set up a large glass quarantine in the middle of the ship, which took him a long time.
Jared was hoping that she could get a drink. She wanted to get wasted.
Cicada jumped from rooftop to roof top in Divo. A cloth covering her mouth and nose so she didn't catch the Reaper plague. Lately Cicada hadn't been able to find anyone to pickpocket, and se didn't want to risk stealing something from a building in case the people there were infected. All she was left to do was wait for a new ship to dock, so she could get to a better sector.
You must've woken up the whole ship with your yelling, Cap. Leah thought as she walked down the empty halls of the ship. She saw a few hazy figures of her family, but pushed them away, telling herself that they weren't real.
"Hey Captain! I finished building the glass quarantine." Kameo waved at Cap.
Joanna sat up when she heard screaming. 'Who was that? ' She got up and entered the hall. "Hello? Is anyone there?"
"Quarantine. . ." Leah repeated, looking towards the far edge of the boat. She turned back towards Kameo. "What time is it?"
"No idea. Lost track of it a while back." he pulled at his gloves.
Leah looked up at the sky. It was darker and there were a few stars in the sky behind the hazy fog. She looked back down at the glass structure. "Watch out down there. I heard the King and Queen have sent Inquisitors to each sector."
He waved her off, "I'll be fine, Captain. I can take care of myself." he threw an arm around her shoulder.
There was just one problem with Cicada's plans, the guards were checking every ship before they left. If she could get some money to buy her way onto the ship that would be amazing for her. Cicada just couldn't stay here any longer, she needed money, transportation, and honestly the freedom she had but at the same time didn't.
Jared hopped up onto the side of the ship, and sat down over the edge.
"I know you will. . . just don't die." Leah smiled, giving him a pointed look.
Joanna walked up to Leah and Kameo. "Did you guys here someone scream?"
"Hey Jo-Jo." Kameo waved and turned back to Captain. "I promise I won't die. At Divo."
"How about you try not to die anywhere." Leah said, nudging him. She turned towards Joanna and furrowed her brow in confusion to cover up her surprise. So you did wake up the whole ship. . . wonderful. "Screaming?"
"Hey Kam." Joanna said, rubbing a hand over her eyes. "Seriously, did I here someone scream?"
"Huh," She sighed. "If it only happened once, then there's probably no one murdering the whole ship."
"Mm." Kameo smiled and let go of Captain, staring over at the dark sea from the edge of the ship. "I should go right now. On a rowboat."

Morrigan tensed up slightly under Lucian’s searching gaze, self-consciously tucking a strand of thick black hair behind her ear and playing with her earrings. “Great. I— I don’t want to bother you any longer, I should probably go plot our next course.” She moved to get up.
Leah nodded slowly. "We'll stay close by, but we won't dock," She explained, looking towards the water. "Because of the plague, there won't be any enemy boats to worry about."
