"Wow." Kameo breathed, "That sounds like a challenge for my skills. I bet that I can make an antidote in a five days if I work around the clock." he looked over at Joanna, "You okay, Jo-Jo?"

Joanna nodded. "Yes, it's just, I grew in Divo, and I have friends there. Good friends I haven't seen in a good long while."

"That sucks." Kameo leaned against the table, "I promise that I'll figure out the antidote even if it kills me."

"We'll stop in Divo. The Queen and King have decided to send a fleet of Inquisitors to each sector, so we'll need to act like normal sailors and merchants." Leah explained.

He nodded and shot a look at Captain. "You're staying on the ship. All of you. I'm going alone."

( I feel like when Leah first met Daso she completely hated him because he was a stowaway, but half the crew wanted to keep him. . . so she did )

(I'm thinking that Ace was the main advocate, so maybe Daso likes Ace? Just a thought)

"You're not going alone anywhere. If you get caught, you're dead." Leah countered.

"Yes I am, you guys aren't dying on me. I've had enough of that." Kameo's face darkened. "Stay. On. The. Ship."

"I. Am. Your. Captain." Leah responded, calmly. "I do not want you to die either."

"Fight me." he leaned in, glaring.

"You're not going alone." Leah said, her green eyes narrowing.

Kameo growled, "I have a duty to protect you. This disease is dangerous. Let me go alone." he wiped away a coming tear, "I don't want you to die. Leah."

Joanna stood up. "Let me come with you, Kameo."
(I'm going to bed soon.)

Leah leaned back and bit her bottom lip as she thought. Her gaze softened a bit. "Fine. But if you die, I will never forgive myself."

He shot a glare at Joanna. "No, Joanna." and he smiled at Captain. "Thank you Cap. I promise that I won't die. At Divo at least." Kameo saluted, "I should go prepare." and he walked out of the room, back towards his lab.

(Dang. you could have done That's a no no, jo jo. Oh well. scene's a bit too serious for that.)
Joanna followed him out. "No, wait, Kameo. Please. I need to go. I need to know if my friends are alright."
