(Yes!)
Leah picked up the now knocked out Alpha and dragged him towards one of the masts. She searched for a piece of rope, finally settling on a decently sized one as she approached him again. After a few moments, the man was tied up. If he couldn't move, he wasn't a threat. Leah was also sure to pry the gun out of his hands, holding it as she walked back towards the crew members that were still on deck.
Joanna crossed her arms, satisfied. "Is it bad that I was overjoyed to whack him really hard upside the head with a cast iron frypan?"
Kameo was still on the ground, immobile and his one leg straining to help himself back up.
"I would have been even more overjoyed than you," Leah muttered, looking over at the man and grimacing. She hated him. "Too bad I don't have a frypan when I need it."
Cicada woke up and held onto her gut. She propped herself against a wall and put pressure on the wound. Well isn't this great.
"I can buy you one if you want." Joanna said.
Alpha opened on eye, grinning. "Ye'll be sorry that ya did tha' Ms. Capitan."
Joanna handed Leah her frypan. "Here. I'm going to help Kam."
"That would be wonderful," Leah answered, kneeling down next to Kameo and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Hold still, we're going to get you up." She said gently, starting to pull him up as she motioned for Joanna to help.
Alpha opened on eye, grinning. "Ye'll be sorry that ya did tha' Ms. Capitan."
"Shut up," Leah called out, shaking her head faintly.
"My life's been such a train-wreck since Ace died." Kameo's eyes looked so blank, as if the life had been drained out of them.
"It'll get better Kam Kam." Joanna said, slipping an arm under him.
"I know."
