( wipes tear away. I feel like if Cicada dies, that'll be the only time Leah will sing. It'll be like a Katniss/Rue thing. Lmao )
(Totally forgot Daso's injuries whoops)
Not wanting to bother Lucian anymore, Daso quickly cleaned his injuries and bandaged them. The one in his hand may have needed stitches, but he didn't have time. He made his way to the front deck, looking around at the damage dealt by the ghost ship.

(I'll cry :(((
(Now I want to kill my child. Thanks!)

(I'll cry :(((
( yeah, I'll cry too. :(
(I have plans to make her suffer very much, but not die. As of yet.)
( Hm. . . should we find some treasure? )
(Sure, but I'm still waiting for PuffPoff.)
(Well they are pirates. Treasure!!)
(And I have to wait for Nerd. So not now.)
Leah looked around, wincing as she saw parts of the masts ripped apart and parts of the deck broken. It hurt to see something her father made break apart. She would have to spend hours fixing this.
"Yeah, I'll row." Kameo rowed them back to the boat and they headed into his lab, where Cicada watched him sit on his bed.
(good morning time for some angst :)
Daso glanced around the ship but quickly realized he wasn't needed. He noticed that a row boat was missing, but there were enough people around to fix whatever the situation was. He headed back towards his cabin, sitting on the floor and retrieving some paper and a quill.
He began: Dearest… but scratched that. Dear… but again, still too fond. He settled on: Dara, because he knew she wouldn't like him being too familiar.
Dara, he wrote, I know I have no write to speak to you. I just need to ask you one thing, and then you can banish me from your thoughts forever. Today the ship I am on ran into a ghost ship. It's some weird-ass folk story about a ship that takes the appearance of people you love who are dead –even if you don't know they're dead. Long story short, I found Mom on that ship. She tried to kill me, so I guess even after death we're at odds. Don't worry, she didn't hurt me, not anymore than the first time she hit me anyway. It wasn't really her, though, right? She's safe and sound, at home? And she knows I love her, doesn't she? She doesn't think that I stopped loving her because I ran away.
I'm trying very hard to pretend she's alive, Dara. Please write back. I can't stand not knowing. You don't have to speak to me ever again if you like, but one letter. Just the one. It can be three words, "she is okay" or "she's not dead." Just…it's torture to wonder.
If she's alive, tell her I love her. Tell dad I love him, too. And you, I love you just as much as when we used to spend all of our time together. I'm just an asshole and I'm sorry I abandoned you. Don't forgive me, please. Hate me all you like. I hate me, too.
Write back. I'll be at (insert wherever the crew will be two ports from now).
I love you.
Daso.
He folded the letter, now stained with tears, carefully and placed it in his coat pocket.
Cicada watched Kameo sit on the bed. She sat down across from him and pulled out her lighter. With everything that had been going on she needed this. She flicked it on and watched as the tiny flame danced around.
JESUS I THOUGHT HE WOULD DIE THANK GOD FOR CICADA SAVING KAM OMFG)
Morrigan’s eyes shot open, but she was too weak to sit up. She lay there, panting as she tried to clear her head. The nightmare had been worse than normal, but at least it hadn’t been a chain of them like usual. Through the murk in her brain, she managed to remember, managed to feel emotion, managed to feel at least a tiny spark of accomplishment. She fell off the bed with a loud thump.
(Cicada: No one else was doing it, so your welcome.)
Ryan sighed, leaning back against the wall. "You know how I asked you that question earlier? Something about…loving someone so much you could never be mad at them?" He decided to ease into this, not wanting to give everything away all at once.
( Aw, Daso's letter is so sad :(
Joanna nodded.
"Well back in Anjou, before I left, there was this girl I was dating. Her name was Naomi." Ryan took a breath to keep himself from yelling or crying. "And…one day out of no where I come home and my house had been burnt to the ground. Later I found out that she had started the fire so…I broke up with her." He paused. "I also just found out that her father is the one that killed my dad." He choked up on the word 'killed'. "But what scares me most is…I still love her. Despite the fact that she put my family in dept, broke my heart, and probably helped murder my father."
Morrigan lay there, in the floorboards, too weak to even sit up. She didn’t care though, and closed her eyes again to escape from all the pain. At least she wasn’t hurting herself.

Joanna sat there, stunned.
Ryan smacked himself in the forehead. "See? I'm an idiot. There's a reason you don't share your problems with others…" He mumbled to himself.
"Ryan, you're not an idiot."
