"We had two older brothers, George and Cameron. They looked like us," Leah explained, handing her a picture of their brothers. They both had messy, red hair and the same spray of freckles across their noses, their arms slung loosely across one another's shoulders. "You look a lot like our mom. She died when I was seven. . ."
(Oml luckyyy)
Morrigan averted her eyes, flustered. “Mm. It’s weird considering I’m eighteen. I know..”
Lucian shrugged his shoulders loosely. “It’s completly fine, plenty of people save that sort of thing. Besides, that just made it even better.”
Joanna looked up as Ryan entered the kitchen. "Hey, Ry. Did you find your family?"
"So the one person I looked like is dead," Cicada almost wanted to laugh, "Sounds like the story of my life."
"Well, we kind of have the same face. . . and I'm pretty sure I'm still alive." Leah shrugged, smiling a little. "They would have really liked you."
(Also, nice picture of Kam Kam, NERD!)
Ryan nodded. "Yeah, I did. Also found out that I have a new little brother."
"Oh! That's great! How are they all doing?"
"They would?" Cicada looked up at the ceiling. She muttered, "Even with my track record of losing those I care about."
(Also, nice picture of Kam Kam, NERD!)
It was quick…Not that good…Or Ace's…
He smiled, chuckling a little. "They're great." Ryan didn't bring up the fact that his parents were dead.
She nodded. "I'm making mini pizzas for dinner. Want to help?"
I LIKE PIZZA
ME TOO
(PIZZZZAAAAA)
Ryan shrugged. "Sure. I could use a mental break."
“I guess.”, she said shyly, clearing her throat. “That may have been my first kiss but I sure hope it wasn’t my last.”
"Okay, If you could grate the cheddar and parmesan, that'd be great." She said, handing him the cheeses and a grater.
"Of course. Big trouble makers. . . and they loved to steal." Leah sighed, shaking her head. She turned back towards Cicada. "You would have really liked them too.'
"Oh so they were little thieves," Cicada grinned, "I would have been the best role model for them then."
"I was always the one getting in trouble. . " Leah muttered, grinning at the memory. "Cameron wasn't the best role model. . . he was going to get married. Almost every girl he met loved him. Don't even get me started on George."
Ryan nodded. He stared grating the cheese, trying to focus his mind on happier thoughts.
"You mean I was going to have a sister in law I never knew about?" Cicada pretended to be dismayed, "You could have at least sent me an invite."
(This is so cute and I'm too happy to write angst for Kam, so give me a second to watch Sami's death scene and I should be pretty sad by then)
(I'm crying just thinking about it)
