Morrigan sat down next to Lucian, passing him the cocoa. Her eyes fell immediately on the empty whiskey bottle, and she tensed up instinctively. A faint hallucination began to form.
(DONT TAKE IT OUT ON MORRIGAN)
Lucian noticed where Morrigan’s gaze fell, and he set the cocoa on the desk, reaching out to gently touch her arm. “It’s okay, I just had a little bit, just one glass.”
"Alright then." She took the tortillas off the skillet, emptied the pan, and stepped out of the kitchen, hollering "SUPPER'S READY Y'ALL!"

She nodded, eyes glued to it. Her father’s faint silhouette formed, reaching for the glass. “It’s nothing.”, she lied. “Bad memories.”
Y'all… Ryan repeated the foreign contraction in his head.
(I love how no one cares about Kameo and Ace being gone)
Y'all… Ryan repeated the foreign contraction in his head.
(This had me laughing for some reason XD)
Leah grimaced, holding onto her waist tightly. She walked around the rest of the empty cots, but decided to sit back down. The room was empty, but Lucian's instruments were out, so everyone must have gotten treated and were in their quarters or on deck.
(Do you want Jo Jo to find them NERD? Do you?)
( Y'all. I say that sometimes. )
Lucian’s lips pulled into a tense line and he nodded slowly. He picked up the cocoa again, rubbing light circles on her knee with his free hand. “Thank you again, for the cocoa,” he said softly.
(I love how no one cares about Kameo and Ace being gone)
(in my defense, Ryan doesn't know them)
(Same. My ma is southern. She dropped the accent when she was 10 or something, but it occasionally comes up.)
(I refuse to say y'all and ain't and stuff like that)
(I say it for fun :)
Joanna put her hands on her hips. "So I guess no one is hungry or they didn't hear me." She turned back to the kitchen and grabbed a cowbell and started shaking it like crazy. "SUPPER PEOPLE! COME ON!"
Kameo heard Joanna's voice from afar and groaned. Her voice reminded him of whiskey. Maybe he could drink Ace's death away.
Ryan covered his ears. "I'm eating!"
"I know you are, but they aren't. I don't know the last time Cap ate. She got shot today, so she needs to eat."
"Did you have to yell?" Cicada looked at Joanna.
"Shot? Is that the kind of stuff I signed up for?"
Lucian’s lips pulled into a tense line and he nodded slowly. He picked up the cocoa again, rubbing light circles on her knee with his free hand. “Thank you again, for the cocoa,” he said softly.
Morrigan’s heartbeats quickened as she felt his hand on her knee and she gulped. “I figured you were tired.” Her hands trembled slightly as the hallucination stepped towards her, but quickly began to disintegrate, the pill working its magic.
Sorry I disappeared, I had to take the dog out)
Kameo watched the door, wondering if he should go through. He didn't want to leave Ace's dead body laying here, but he was so hungry. If Ace wasn't dead he wouldn't have to face these problems.
Leah heard Joanna's voice, but decided that after what had happened today, she wasn't all that hungry. She pushed herself up, her arm wrapped instinctively around her waist as she walked up towards the deck. The sky was still a stormy gray, the same one as in Sole.
"Shot? Is that the kind of stuff I signed up for?"
"Sorry Cicada. As for being shot, you only run that risk if you go on land, really."
"Good. Then I'm staying here." Ryan sat down on a chair.
