So I actually had an idea for once, here it is:
A soldier has just returned home from their tour of duty and is suffering from some pretty severe issues. Their friends get pretty worried about them and hire some in-home help to look after them and keep them from hurting themselves. This in-home help and the soldier start off at complete odds. The soldier hates the help and sees them as a sign of weakness, treating them terribly as a result. Eventually, the help and the soldier begin to bond until the soldier no longer needs the help around and they part ways.
I have a character in mind for either the soldier or the in-home help, so you can play whichever you want. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply and replies longer than one sentence are SOOOOOO appreciated (as is good grammar)
(Ooo you said this was open?)
(Well when I was replying there was no one there but by the time the post loaded someone was already there… ;-;)
Oh, I hate it when that happens. Sorry @TiramisuGrenouille
(Cries whatever I'm not good enough anyways. Goodbye.)
(Bye :( Hey Quin, any idea who you wanna play?)
The in-home person/ thing?
I really want to use a sassy character… Maybe I'll use a chef.
Cool! By in-home help, I was thinking more of a guardian to watch the soldier and make sure they take care of themselves but a chef could work.
Oh, no.
I just have a chef character and I feel he would just make food and force the soldier to eat food.
Okay, that seems perfect! Do you want to exchange character sheets or keep it a surprise?
Lets keep it a surprise!//
Rad! I'll just tell you his name then: Levi Animus.
Okay, lemme figure out what name…//
Cool. Do you want to start or should I?
(Totally. Give me a few minutes)
Sometimes it was hard for Levi to be grateful for his friends. He loved Flora and Sequoia with all his heart, but right now he was considering the best way to murder them. They had hired some kind of glorified babysitter to watch over him. Some 'live in chef' whose name was Jax who would be watching his every move and probably reporting back to them.
Sure, he might not be the best at taking care of himself now. And sure, he might forget to eat or sleep or go outside sometimes. That didn't mean he needed some random stranger in his house.
Jax was pissed, he was hired as a chef and the people who hired him failed to mention that it was for a salty soldier. This is why I hate my life. He thought, trudging up the driveway and ringing the doorbell. He hoped the dude would make this as painless as possible, but he was probably very, very wrong.
