“Sounds like a fair reason to me… anyways, no matter the reason, you can stay here for now” Philip stated as he walked around, kicking the small pebbles against the wall.
“Sounds like a fair reason to me… anyways, no matter the reason, you can stay here for now” Philip stated as he walked around, kicking the small pebbles against the wall.
Cassi looked at Philip with an eye brow raised. "You and I must have very different ideas of fair if you think that is fair," she scoffed.
“I didn’t say it was fair to you, did I?”
((Can I jump in? Cause I am very good at mysteriously appearing from the shadows in any situation.))
(Sure hop in!)
Out of absolutely ~nowhere~ a mysterious figure emerges. She has black hair and yellow eyes, making her blend in with the shadow well. Looking behind her, she speaks quickly. "Can I come along?" She keeps glancing over her shoulder as she attempts to follow them.
"No I guess not," Cassi said looking back to where they were going. "How much further is… wherever we're going?"
Cassi snapped her head around and looked at the new figure. "Who on earth are you and more importantly where did you come from?"
The mysterious figure turns her attention to Cassi. "I'm…" she pauses, thinking for a moment. "You can call me Kira. Yeah, Kira. I uh… I came from there." She points to the shadows she emerged from. "SO back to the point. Can I come along? I mean… to be perfectly honest I'm going to follow you anyway, but it's better if I have your permission."
Cassi looked at the other two people around her then back to Kira. "Uh, sure I guess, I mean, I don't see why not. I'm Cassandra, but most people call me Cassi.
"Alright, hi Cassi. Thank you for letting me come along. Concrete here is going to come with me but you won't even notice he's there." A small red bird lands on Kira's shoulder, letting out a high pitched chirp before flying off again.
Cassi watched the bird disappear, she was looking at it like she hadn't seen an animal in years. "You have a friend animal?" she breathed.
Kira eyed Cassi. She was unsure whether or not to trust her, but right now she was all Kira had. "Yes. He normally stays in the sky, flying around me. He lets me know if there's anyone suspicious around me." Kira avoided Cassi's gaze by looking at the area around them. "So where are we headed anyway?"
"I have no clue," Cassi explained shrugging slightly. "Gwen knows where we're going. But I just escaped the government and have no clue what is going on, or where we're going."
Kira nodded and continued to follow, since it was her only hope of losing them.
Concrete flew down and chirped at Kira, immediately she started glancing over her shoulder. "Can we hurry?"
"You don't seem very worried about the fact that we are literally headed underground," Cassi commented after a little bit.
"I suppose not," Kira said. "I have to go. I really have to go." She said turning to run off into the forest.
((I gotta go for real. I'll probably be back tomorrow morning. Idk if we could pick this up or not.))
(Yes we can, see ya.)
((Bye))
