Hop in at any point and just run with it. You don't need a character template and you don't need to ask just throw in a character and run with it.
Sirens went off around the city, the night was shaken by the collapse of the building. Fire rose into the night sky as rain fell down on the black city streets below. Lightning split the sky, and thunder drowned out the sirens.
She was running, her short black hair stuck to her face, tears streamed down her face and dripped from her chin along with the rain. She was drenched and terrified. She didn't know where she was going, and she didn't know how she was going to get there, but she knew that if she didn't get out of the city they would catch her again.
(Hey @Altrince_of_the_Crimson_Rose_Garden come join me)
(Huh… interesting)
He only knew of what’s happening through the screens. Maybe because he had seen it all before, he wasn’t much terrified but more of a surprised expression. He saw her. A woman in short black hair. He followed her with his eyes through the screens before he came out on the streets through the alleyways of the wicked.
She sprinted through the back roads. The helicopter sounding above her. The spot light shined on her. Rain poured down, and she couldn't see anything. She stumbled and fell to the ground. Forcing herself forward she got to her feet and continued.
Spotting the girl physically, he raised his arm up and waved; making sure the pilot couldn’t see him in the shadows of the tall buildings. He hoped that she would see him and that it wasn’t necessary for him to get out of the safe shadows.
She didn't see him, due to the darkness of the night, and the brightness of the spot light on her. So she kept running. Her heart pounding against her chest, and wind howling in her ears. She was blind in more ways than one.
He cursed under his breath as he ran steadily after her. The shadows were now something he hated. Avoiding the spotlights and back into the dark, he followed the woman he just saw. He made sure that the pilot didn’t see him as he kept a close eye on the helicopter at all times.
All at once a light brighter then that of the spotlight flashed. It surrounded her, in her panic. It was happening again. She couldn't do it here, there were innocent people people sleeping here. No, she had to control it. Behind her she could hear the pursue of someone else. She turned suddenly causing the spotlight to lose her for a brief moment. She spotted the man following her and cried out, in a desperate plea for help. She was glowing brighter now.
The man held both of his hands in front of him.
“Calm down… I’m here to help… I know a place we could potentially go find help…” the man tried to calm her down even though the panic was most likely taking over her.
She was suddenly blinded again by the spotlight returning to her. "No! Get away from me!" she motioned with her hands for the helicopter to leave. The moment she did that the whole thing lurched and crashed into a nearby building before blowing up and burning. She put her hands over her mouth in shook and horror at what she had just done. Rain poured down around them and lightning flashed. "What is wrong with me?" she looked at her hands almost in fear. "Make it stop please," she pleaded to the man near her.
The man turned to the scene caused and cursed under his breath.
“I would try to help, follow me, please…” he said, running pass her to the other end of the alleyway. He was already certain that someone was waiting for them.
Indeed some one was waiting for them, her long auburn hair billowed in the wind, she studied her nails and dropped her hand when she heard them approaching, she placed a hand on the wall behind her ready for the on comers.
She hesitantly followed at first, but was soon sprinting after him. This was the first person ever to come to her offering to help. She wasn't going to let that go to waste, especially if he really could help her. Which he seemed like he could.
He made sure she’d followed him. When he saw the woman at the end of the alleyway, he came to a stop.
“Took you long enough” he said to the woman who appears to be his colleague or at least a workmate of some sort.
The woman flipped her hair, "I've been waiting here all night, you knew where to find me," the wail of sirens grew closer and the woman's face grew more serious, "Come on." She pressed her palm firmly on the wall behind her and it slid open reveling a large passage way, "Lets go, We don't have enough time for this talk." She stepped inside and stood next to a strange symbol marking the wall, the same symbol could be seen on the palm of her hands, "Hurry up so I can close it."
The man didn’t wait for the woman he brought to react. He took her by her wrist and pulled her inside.
“They’re more aggressive than they were before huh?” He asked his colleague as he let go of the woman’s wrist.
She walked at a brisk pace into the long passage through the wall. She then stopped to wait for the other woman. She wasn't willing to leave anyone behind with those people out there hunting her. "Who are you people?"
The woman placed her hand over the symbol, it glowed dimly and the door slid shut. " We, or at least I am a part of a rescue group, I'm the door keeper, essentially I'm the one in charge around here." As the woman spoke she looked pointedly at the man. The corridor began to open up and widen, the path slanted down until the walls seemed to vanish completely and they descended into a large chamber, "Welcome to the underground, a little community of out casts that logically shouldn't exist."
"Well, I can tell you that I probably shouldn't exist," she replied. "My name's Cassandra, but most people call me Cassi."
“We’re doing names now? Well, I’m Philip, Philip Ranger, also known as the scavenger. My duty is basically to find both living people and dead people around the place. The living will come here while the dead… you don’t really have to know…” the man took the opportunity to introduce himself.
"Thank you for helping me, by the way," Cassi looked at Philip. She was still shaking slightly, and she and him were both still soaked. Her black hair sticking to her face and her dark green eyes sparkling slightly she was wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans
"Well If you must have a name for me, I'm Gwen." Gwen said, she looked around at the group of people in front of her, "I say shouldn't logically exist for two reasons, One many of the people here shouldn't logically exist and two this chamber and the entire underground literally shouldn't exist."
"By this point nothing would surprise me anymore," Cassi sighed. "I brought down an entire building and blew up a helicopter. And the government was chasing me down so, by this point I feel like anything goes."
“Huh… sounds like something I would do” Philip commented.
“Anyways, any idea why you were being chased?”
"No," she sighed. "I was held by them once, but something went wrong and I panicked. That's when I brought down the building. I guess they just wanted me back so they could run more tests and experiments."
