Leah shook her head.
"No," she said softly "just the jellyfish."
Leah shook her head.
"No," she said softly "just the jellyfish."
"KK." Violet said and made some final touch ups to it before putting her pen away. "How does it look?" she asked uncertaly.
Leah took almost a whole minute looking at it.
"I like it." She said, honestly "it's really good."
Violet blushed.
"Um, it's really only a sketch." She said uncertainty. "If you don't like it you don't have to lie to same my feelings."
"No," Leah said honestly. "I really do like it."
"Realy?" Violet asked looking at it. She wasn't sure that it was the best she could have done. "It's just a rough sketch. the final one will be much better."
Leah nodded and smiled and pulled her long sleeve of her beige sweater down.
"I think I'll get it soon."
"Does it work?" Violet asked slowly. "If you were to give me a day maybe I could make it better, add some depth." She traced a few of the jellyfish stings with her finger.
Leah nodded and smiled politely.
"Yeah," she said. "Take all the time you need, I trust your instinct.
Violet nodded. She was already planing how she would make it better. "Does your mom care that you're getting a tattoo?" she asked
Leah shook her head and smiled.
My mom has like the tattoo's herself." She explained. "So she's actually excited, since this is my first one."
"Realy?" Violet said with a smile.
"I didn't know that."
Leah nodded "mhm".
"She's more excited than I am, actually." She stated. "The whole needle part is the part that gets me, every time I think about it." She said, laughing nervously.
"It's not as bad as it sounds." Violet said looking at Leah. "It's really not a big needle and it only hurts near the joints."
Leah nodded and smiled.
"Good thing I'm getting it on my arm, huh?" She said and elbowed Violet playfully.
Violet laughed and put her arm around Leah's shoulders.
"Oh, yes." She chuckled. "A very good thing."
Leah buried her head in the crook of Violet's shoulder as she giggled uncontrollably.
After a few minutes she lifted her head back up and smiled.
"Wanna go to my room?" She asked.
Violet giggled along with Leah as they snuggled.
"Sure." she said happily when Leah poked her head back up.
Leah stood up and led her across the house, down a small, dimly lit hallway and into her room, which was the only one on the right side.
She flopped down on her twin sized bed and looked up at the ceiling, which had a bunch of glow in the dark stars in shapes of constellations.
Following her, Violet happily walked along behind Leah.
She looked up to the stars and smiled. "remember when we put those up there?" she chuckled. "we fell off the chair so many times."
Leah nodded and laughed.
"You mean you fell off the chair so many times." She insisted. "I let you do all the work."
Violet laghted along with her.
"Ja i guess." She looked down at Leah. "You let me do all the work?" she asked sarcastically.
Leah laughed and nodded.
"You seemed very eager." She said and smiled brightly. "So I just let you kind of take over."
"I guess you're right."
She smiled. "I get excited about changing anything that's probably not illegal. At least in public."
She laid down next to Leah on the bed and looked up at the artificial stars.
Leah laced her fingers together and placed her hands on her stomach and looked up at the ceiling.
She crossed her legs at the ankles and sighed quietly.
"Have you ever thought about what will happen when we both get our shit together and just fade into society?"
Violet asked turning her head to look at Leah.
Leah shook her head.
"I mean, considering I'm only a young adult, I think I have my shit together." She responded and turned her head to look at Violet. "But no, not really."
Violet turned her head to mirror Leah.
"Realy?" she asked. "Not at all?" She looked at her, their faces not even inches apart, and she kissed her on the nose.
"Ok then."
Leah laughed.
"I mean, I don't usually permit myself of the future, it freaks me out really bad." She said.
Smiling Violet nodded.
"It's scary. you're right to be freaked out. I know i am."
