The Gorilla stood over the pair, it’s breath heavy. It’s orange eyes held her gaze.
Briar opened her mouth to speak, but ended up fainting instead.

Kieran didn't know who Jake was. He remembered having a Jake in his music lessons, but they hadn't spoken that much. He shrugged it off and decided to take in his surroundings. Small waves crashed onto rocks nearby, and the sun was just rising. Beautiful, he thought, deciding not to worry.

Jake frowned, he didn’t know a Kieran, or at least- he didn’t remember knowing one. He sighed and looked around, it was actually a pretty nice place.

The gorilla was unimpressed by Thayer’s attempt to look scary. He dropped the unconscious Briar flat on her face, and went off.

Looking to his left, Kieran noticed someone off in the distance. He wasn't sure whether to approach them or not - you never know. Unsure of where he was, he decided it was best to approach them, and started walking in their direction.

Jake turned around in a full circle and realized a figure, a human, was walking towards him. He froze a little, unsure of what to do.
