Kieran typed away on his computer, trying to finish off a project. He was only a couple of sentences away from being done, when the screen went black.
He stared for a moment, until a message appeared, and a cheery, annoying voice read it out: 'YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY! SELECT YOUR DESTINATION!' Different areas appeared on the screen, one of which was a calm, tropical beach. Hesitantly, he tapped on the beach, skeptical that this was some sort of prank or hacker.
Before he could stop it, he was surrounded by a bright light, which dragged him away from his small bedroom.

Floyd was lounged out on the floor of his apartment, his back against the end of the couch. He seemed to be extremely interested in a football game that was on the tv. He jumped up from the floor as a receiver darted down the field. “Yes! Come on!” He cheered, an excited grin on his face.

But the tv suddenly cut off. “The hell?” Floyd said, a frown on his face. ‘YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY! SELECT YOUR DESTINATION!’ popped up on the black screen before a few images popped up behind it. His eyes narrowed as he crouched in front of the tv. A picture of strange, but almost beautiful and unique rock formations over looking a large body of water cuaght his attention, and he pressed his hand to the screen. There was a strange feeling in his chest, and light engulfed his vision before he could even begin to feel shocked.

Thayer scrolled through tumblr, looking bored. They randomly tapped through accounts, and was looking at one on writing when a small pop-up opened. THE CHANCE OF A LIFETIME!
They were apparently supposed to pick a destination. sure, why not?
A moonlit beach with black water. A huge redwood forest. A big city with colorful lights. And a river in a field with forest in the distance.
Thayer tapped the river.
