Mae walked around, examining different items for sale, looking at the other players, and looking at the scenery. She found a plain with a boar in it, and decided to learn the mechanics of the game. She unsheathed her rapier and marveled at how real it felt. She wondered if it would be anything like real life. She stabbed at the boar, hitting it rapidly. She watched its HP bar drain and thought of what she had read about the "Sword Skills". She tried activating one, and thrusted the charged up rapier into the boar's hide. She killed it, gaining enough EXP to make it to level 2.
Aki walked on. He seemed like he knew the area.
Mae continued to kill boars, overall she was able to easily level up to level 5, with about 79% EXP left until level 6. She breathed in the fresh air, having to remind herself she was in a video game. She looked at the time, five minutes until supper time. She sighed and opened the menu, navigating to where the Sword Art Online User Manuel said the log out button was. It was no where to be seen. She scrolled through the menu, not able to find it anywhere.
Aki who was wondering by, kinda a solo player right now, noticed it.
