Skye jumped at the shrieking sound, then looked around frantically for the source.
"Yeah… We should get out of here," she agreed.

Luna touched the edges of the doorframe and stepped out cautiously. She looked to one of the sides and spotted a few people talking. Are those the other people? She started to walk towards them.
“Our rooms,” Amaryllis said quickly before flipping through the pages. “We all were in our rooms, right? And we were safe. Maybe, maybe these things can’t get into our rooms— at least, not until they know where we are. So we can hide there until we can go through these dumb files and figure out what’s going on and why we’re completely clueless about ourselves.”
"That seems naive," Nyir pointed out with a wry smirk. "Why would our rooms keep out whatever is in here?"
Luna approached the people talking. "Hey are you the others?" She asked.
“I never said they keep them out. I simply said they might,” Amaryllis corrected. “We would have been killed before we even started. But we weren’t, probably because we were in our rooms. Whatever’s out there had a chance to kill us while we were completely vulnerable in our rooms. But it didn’t. Secondly, because of this,” Amaryllis pointed at one paragraph in the file, reading out loud. “’Safe houses in this murder houses includes the place where your eyes open the first time, behind closed doors.’ I believe this refers to when we first woke up in the rooms. Think of it as a checkpoint. We can’t hide in our rooms forever; we’ll starve. But we can stay there for protection when we’re in danger. Maybe our eyes opened somewhere else inside this place, but for now, our safest bet is our where we woke up since we don’t know anything else.”
Before Amaryllis could continue, a voice spoke up.
“Hey, are you the others?” the girl asked, approaching their group hesitantly.
Amaryllis nodded.
“I guess so,” she replied. “There may be more of us, I don’t know for sure.”
(i gtg be back tomorrow.)
Lizzy……..She was unfamiliar with that name, but she decided to use it on herself anyway. She opened the door and walked down the eerie hallway. She heard the faint voices somewhere near, but she couldn't pin point where it was coming from. She quietly tip toed until she saw some movement from the edge of her vision. She heard the slight creek of a door that just closed. Now fully alert, she quickly ran over and pushed the door open to find a boy with brown hair standing there with a yellow envelope that said Gavin Sherwood. "Hi Gavin?" SHe said in an unsure voice.
Gavin jumped and turned around as the girl entered. He backed up, holding the folder to his chest. "How…how did you know my name? If…if that is my name…but still, how did you know? Are you behind this?"
" It said it on your folder." She responded, pointing to the folder he was holding. "Also I am as clueless as you." She responded.
Gavin still didn't trust her. "What's your name?"
" Apparently it's….Lizzy… So is there anyone else?" She questioned.
Gavin nodded. "Some girls were talking in the hallway, but I don't trust them so I didn't socialize with them."
(May I join?)
(May I join?)
(Of course!)
" But maybe they're like us." She suggested before she heard something growl near by. "What's that?" She asked nervously.
Gavin shrugged, relaxing his body slightly. "I'm not sure. I'm trying to figure out why I'm here before I try to solve the strange noises."
