Beatrix inhaled deeply, braving the new world she was about to encounter. A world full of people like her. People with special powers. She closed her eyes and envisioned her happy place. She opened her eyes again revealing her black glistening eyes. She noticed one girl with a tentacle and a boy with a bandana around his eyes. These people seem to be the ones I am looking for. She rounded up the courage to speak with the two strangers. She sauntered over to them and waved her best 'friendly hello'. "Hi," she said meekly still not knowing what to do other than wait for the train.
Charlie walked over to wait for the train. She saw other people like her and paled. She was a huge introvert, which sucked sometimes. Then she saw a familiar face and grinned.
Tiki waved to the two girls who had came up, she didn't realize she was waving with her tentacle, "Hello!"
"Heya." Arioch gave a small wave and smiled to the new people around him, noting their auras and their placement around him.
Cosmo dragged his bags towards the train and placed it inside the luggage compartment before heading over to the platform. He had a dream the previous night that he was going to miss the bus that would cause a chain reaction to him never making it but he came on time meaning he wasn't going to know what happened that day. He saw five people already standing outside and communicating with others so he moved towards the group.
Tiki turned to see a male walking up towards them, she lightly smiled and stepped towards him, hiding her tentacle again, becoming self conscious, "Hello…" She said quietly.
Khian had been following behind another boy who looked to be a little older than him, pulling his single suitcase along behind him. When the other boy finished hauling his stuff into the compartment for luggage, he followed his example. When he'd also finished, he headed for the train to look for a place to sit.
Angel slipped onto the train, finding a deserted compartment and stashing his bag next to him. This'll do. I wonder who I will meet today.
Beatrix hopped onto the train. She saw a boy inside the train with wings. She was curious and joined him in the compartment. She stashed her luggage away in a container above her. She plopped herself down on the bench opposing the boy. She started to tug at her pointed ear like she always did when she was nervous. She smiled and introduced herself, "I'm Beatrix but you can just call me Trixie or X if you want. What's your name?" She held her hand out for the boy to shake.
Angel smiled. "I'm Angel!" He said, shaking her hand. "Where are you from Trixie?" He asked, she looked nervous and you know what that means, this kid was his kid now.
(Angel tends to adopt anyone who shows him even a bit of kindness…)
Beatrix sighed, preparing for a bit of a long explanation. "I'm from all over. I mean technically…I'm from a different planet called Tyrin. My parents came to Earth a while ago then had me. From what I heard from my parents, our planet is much smaller than earth and my parents said that dictators started to take over certain sections. But ever since we have been on Earth my parents have been traveling. They want to see everything on Earth and I just have to follow along." Beatrix shrugged then asked, "What about you?"
"Nice!" Angel exclaimed. "Mine's a bit of a long story too. So, I was kinda born in a pocket dimension, which was weird. Then I met my brother who's a demonic Siren once I somehow got out of the pocket dimension. I started to live up in the mountains with the only alive group of Avians, still don't know why there aren't as many here as there were at home, but then a dragon kinda destroyed the mountain and now I live with my brother who's a teacher here or something."
((Thomas Jefferson Voice What'd I miss?))
(I'm literally listening to that right now, no way)
"Ooh. That's pretty cool," Beatrix nodded understanding. "So you're an Avian?" she asked with enthusiasm. Beatrix started to relax, noticing how relatable and peaceful this boy was. She acted almost as she knew him for her whole life. Like they had been friends since forever. It was like she could be herself and not be completely judged for who she was because this boy knew what it meant to be 'weird'.
"Technically! Apparently, in this reality Avains are disgraced." Angel muttered sticking out his tongue. "Which I think is stupid. They don't even know what Corrupted Avains are." He complained, pulling out a bag of snacks. "Want some?"
Eve walked along the platform, muttering to Eric. "No, Eric, I don't think trying to hit on that guy would end well, considering he might not see you." She rolled her eyes, watching him pout as he floated next to her. "Come on, a little?" "No!"
"Technically! Apparently, in this reality Avains are disgraced." Angel muttered sticking out his tongue. "Which I think is stupid. They don't even know what Corrupted Avains are." He complained, pulling out a bag of snacks. "Want some?"
"I don't agree with the politics of Earth. They seem to disgrace and accept the wrong things." Beatrix sighed a little. "Sure." She reached her hand into the bag and pulled out a handful of the snacks. She started to munch on the treat her new friend had given her. She swallowed her food and asked, "From your point of view, how do you describe Avians?"
Angel bit his lip. "Well, the so-called pure Avains in my reality are, pardon my English, complete and utter assholes." He said, not hesitating for a moment. He muttered a few choice words under his breath as he rested his face on one of his hands. "The ones here were… Better, I guess."
Beatrix munched on her snacks as she listened intently. "So where you are from you call the Avians there 'assholes', but here on Earth they are a bit better?" she asked clarifying the information she recieved.
Calypso, already disinterested, rolled her eyes. She turned to Charlie. "Hey, how long have you been here?"
Beatrix munched on her snacks as she listened intently. "So where you are from you call the Avians there 'assholes', but here on Earth they are a bit better?" she asked clarifying the information she recieved.
"… Basically, they're still kinda assholes to Corrupted! But, they're good to Regulars." Angel said, rubbing his arm. "Let's change the subject!"
Beatrix nodded agreeing with changing the subject. "Well then, what are your abilities?" She asked as she finished eating her snacks.
"Hm, well, they kinda come and go. It's weird, what about you?" Angel asked in response, popping a dried seaweed chip in his mouth.
