(why should I go and break in pieces?)
(why should I go and break in pieces?)
(what)
(why should I go and fall apart for you)
(I'm disappointed)
(i still don't know what you mean.. Or where this started.)
(nvm)
(shall we continue?)
(Mila ur playing Riley, right?)
Evera frowned, her hands shaking again. "I don't know if I can heal something like this," she admitted.
'She healed Xavier, she should be able to heal her.' Leonard thought.
(oh right sorry)
A small shiver passed through Riley's spine. "Don't do what he wants, Evie. He wants to use you for something," Riely muttered just loud enough for Eve to hear."
'If you don't heal her, she will never live a normal life again.' Leonard thought darkly, still waiting for them to begin.
"I know," Eve mumbled back, "but I don't have a choice." She reached out and caressed Riley's face, her healing reaching in and searching for the damage. There was definite damage to her mind. She started healing it, slowly, agony shooting through her own mind.
"C'mon." he muttered softly to himself, "The faster the quicker we get out of here."
Riley felt a warm sensation through her, a light feeling spreading from her head to the rest of her body. The world around closed down and she only felt the magic coursing through her, gradually leaving her body as her mind cleared.
It was going well. Evera could hardly think from the pain she was in, but she could tell she was repairing the damage. Clenching her teeth, she forced herself to finish. She felt blood drip from her nose.
(tell me when Xavier should come with the jet.. But not right now hopefully.)
Riley's eyes flew open when she returned back to normal. After a moment of hazy vision, everything sharpened. Her memories, her thoughts, everything felt perfect.
Then her gaze focused on Eve. She was pale, trembling, blood dripping from her nose. Riley cupped her face in her hands.
"Is she healed?" Leonard asked.
Riley didn't hear Leonard. She kept her gaze trained on Eve. "What did you do?" she muttered gently, stroking Eve's face gently.
Alice turned away, wanting to give them both some privacy.
"Okk…" Leonard muttered as he then turned to Johan, hoping he would tell him to do something so he would not feel this awkward.
"I…" Evera started to explain, but her dizziness pulled her under. She slumped unconscious into Riley's arms.
Johan watched with a hungry expression on his face. He rubbed his hands together, his eyes sparkling. "Amazing," he breathed.
"I bet Xavier could do the same," Leonard muttered, "If he can take life, he should be able to give it back."
Riley wrapped her arms around Eve, tucking her head under her chin. She held her tightly and threw Johan a death glare. "That's it? Amazing?"
"That would be highly unusual," replied Johan, almost ignoring Leo but thinking better of it. "I doubt he has any sort of healing ability. He can only take, not give. Not like her." He gazed at Evera with genuine respect and admiration in his eyes.
