Please join! Basically the premise is similar to marvel's the Defenders. A group of heros try to take on a big crime syndicate. The twist is that the heroes' powers kinda suck. Example: ice ability, where you can freeze things etc, but using it for too long will freeze your extremities. Basically, a good power with a huge limitation. The hero group should be between 3-7 people, but as many people as possible can join at any time to be a villain or normal human. Nonhuman characters are okay, but make sure their power correlates with their species. Rules are simple: swearing is fine, no sexually graphic scenes, keep violence R rated, no homophobic or racist slurs, and make sure your character has a hamartia (a fatal flaw in their abilities).
My character is Evera. She has medium skin, dark hair, and almond shaped brown eyes. She's Korean. She is warm and motherly but domineering and condescending. A great leader and people person. Smart. Has a healing ability but she can't heal major wounds. WHen she heals, she feels the pain of the wound, and if it's too much she could go into shock or die. She hasn't decided on a hero name yet and she's kinda reluctant to get involved.
Xavier is literally a duplicate of Jack Frost, same powers, and good looks. His weaknesses are that he can not take extreme heat or fire, even being next to a fire can cause him to weaken (Physically and mentally), Xavier cant have sugars or he will go crazy and end up ripping down your house. He can't fight on for long hours or otherwise he will overheat and end up becoming vulnerable. He also has a weakness towards baby's or children, so fighting a child villain? No can do, he can't hurt him/her, but only if he has a grudge towards that person.

Alice, frizzy gold hair and green eyes, average height and weight, Sarcastic, smart, a bit unfeeling before you get to know her but once you're friends BAM, in come the waterworks, sweet if you really get to know her. Umbrakinesis but it brings her to the verge of fainting if she uses it for more than 5 minutes in one go. Her strengths are running and outsmarting people, but she has a huge weakness towards bugs. If she sees a cockroach, or spider, or even ladybug she'll have a meltdown. Another big weakness is she has to save everyone or she'll find a way blame herself for everything
Evera's booted feet splashed against the puddles on the sidewalk as she ran. Her chest heaved as she gasped for breath. How long had she been running? It was stupid of her to try and get involved in this. She was useless.
Dark streaks of black hair plastered to her forehead and over her eyes. She brushed them away impatiently. Run, run, run. She had no time. They could be right behind her. She'd seen too much. She was a definitive risk to their operation, a risk they weren't willing to take.
Her foot caught a crack in the sidewalk. With a stifled gasp, she hit the ground, her hands catching the brunt of her fall. Someone was in front of her. With wide eyes, she gazed up at the person.
Alice stared down at the girl who had fallen down at her feet. She stuck out a hand to help her up, frowning at the girl's nervous face. "Just helping you up, chill. You ok?"
Evera looked at her with distrust. With a trembling hand, she accepted the girl's help. Once she was on her feet, she stepped away from her. She had too much experience. She knew better than to trust anyone. "Thanks. Who are you?" She asked, managing a kind smile. Her heart raced a million miles a minute.
Cool winds past around the towering buildings like an ocean wavy, from up here Xavier could hear and see every little thing that was going on down below. Sitting right on the edge of the green glassed skyscraper, everyone and everything down below looked nothing more than a bunch of sugar ants.
Leonard is a fire manipulator. Besides that, he has enhanced physical ability’s (Running, jumping, climbing, ext.). His weakness- Hight powered blasts (ice, lightning, and air.), uncleanliness, spiders, tight places, and water.
Evera looked at her with distrust. With a trembling hand, she accepted the girl's help. Once she was on her feet, she stepped away from her. She had too much experience. Alice shook her hand. "Alice, just making my way over to my writing group. Who are you?" She noted the suspicion in the girl's eyes."
"It doesn't matter," Evera replied, glancing over her shoulder. The girl seemed nice, but she wasnt sure. "I think I'm being followed," she decided to say, avoiding any specifics.
"Oh." Alice sighed inwardly. She had been in this situation way too many times already. "Alright, I don't know who you think is coming, but I'll guess they're worse than how I seem. So I'm going to start moving towards my safehouse, and you have the choice to follow." She turned on her heels and started walking away.
"Loooooong story. My dad was a detective gone rogue because his boss was downright cruel, and so he built all sorts of safehouses around the city." Alice admitted.
Evera frowned. "Right. As long as it's safe." She followed Alice down the cluttered streets.

“I’m bored!” Leonard groaned as he laid himself down on a small brick hedge. School recess had just started a few minutes ago, but in this cold weather, nothing felt exciting.
A dark brown curly head of hair popped up right above his face, “Maybe if you get up and talk to someone you might not be bored!”
Leroy was Leonard best and only friend, it wasn’t that Leonard was never able to make friends, he just never like to socialize with people. He and Leroy both arrived at Westview School together, they both were adopted together, but to different families.
“I don’t like socializing…” Leonard blurted, placing his hand on his friend’s dark-skinned shoulder, he tilted him a little farther left so he would block the suns rays.
“Soo, you’re just going to waste all of recess so you can sleep, and I’ll be stuck here acting as your shade?” Leroy lifted his eyebrow in question. “Because I thought once you turned 16 you would be manlier and stop taking naps like a baby.”
“And I thought once you turned 17 you would stop asking silly questions.” Shutting his eyes, he listened to all the playful screams of the 1st graders.
“Man, you lazy boy.”
(And then the wonderful shade disappeared, and Leonard was left to die in the sun… That did not happen ;P)
“No! come back!” Leonard exclaimed as he raced down the shadowy halls after Leroy. School had just ended, and Leroy decided it was a nice time to play hide-and-seek in one of the dark rooms. There was always one thing Leonard remembered about play that game with a black friend: ‘don’t let them play in dark rooms, they then become ninjas and you never see them again.’
Alice snorted. "Of course it's safe. It's clear by the name, isn't it?"

“He will never find me!” Leroy snickered as he hide behind a corner. Leonard completely past him up, obliviouse of his new hiding place. “You can search Leonard, but you will never find me!”
