(What do you all think we should do while waiting for Shadow?)
(What do you all think we should do while waiting for Shadow?)
(Idk… Small talk?)
(Idk lol)
(I guess we could do that)
The silence was a tad uncomfortable, so Vaughn cleared his throat before speaking. "Do we know if Element left us anything on the stones that people keep finding?"
Kaz kept silent, not knowing who this “Element” was or what it had to do with them. He took a sip of his coffee, idly tapping a tune on his knee
(Sorry, my internet is spotty atm.)
"As far as I can remember, she only told us which ones there were and what they did," Avery replied, bouncing her foot in anxious impatience.
(It's all good)
Vaughn sighed softly, running a hand over his face. "Was that all in the note? Maybe she has something else written down somewhere about them," he said. He remembered being the first one to find her note. It had been something like a suicide note almost, and he hadn't understood why she couldn't have asked them for help with a problem.
Avery blinked and stared down at her hands, which she twisted together tightly. "I can't really recall much of the note," she admitted quietly. "Just that she said she had to go."
"Right.." Vaughn said, nodding his head for a moment. "Do we still have the note? Maybe in one of the bags?" he asked, a muscle in his jaw ticking.
"Yeah, actually. It's– uh– in my bag, upstairs," Avery replied, standing slowly. "Let me go get it."
"Right, thank you," Vaughn hummed, lifting the coffee cup to his lips, sipping it slowly. He glanced over at Kaz, who he assumed was very confused. He hadn't gotten the chance to know who Element was.
Avery walked briskly to the room she had slept in and looked around for her bag.
Where did I set it, where did I set it? she wondered. Her eyes finally landed on the black bag, which had been shoved in a dark corner. Go figure. I hid it from myself.
As Vaughn suspected, Kaz was decently confused. He kept silent however, sipping his coffee as he tapped his fingers against the counter absently
"Element was another girl in our group," Vaughn began to explain to Kaz, even though the other didn't ask. "But she went off on some mission, and she left a note for us saying that she wasn't coming back. Hell, it was practically a suicide note. I wasn't that close to her, but it was still kind of sad, you know? She was young, and you know how I feel about that stuff.."
Kaz nodded along, a small frown working its way across his face. “That…That sucks,” he said, frowning into his coffee for a moment
"Yeah, it does," Vaughn said, taking another long drink of his coffee. He didn't say anything else about it, simply because he didn't know much about what happened besides what was on the note.
Avery rifled through her bag, searching for the note. When she finally found it, she pulled it out and rushed back down the stairs. She sat in the chair she had been sitting on earlier and handed Vaughn the note.
"Here. Found it," she said shortly, wanting to forget about it as much as possible.
Vaughn took the note from Avery, giving a quick thank you. He skimmed over the writing, jaw clenching as he set down the paper onto the table. "Nothing too useful or detailed," he sighed.
Avery sighed as she took the paper back, neatly folding it and putting it in one of her pants pockets. Go figure. They needed information and they couldn't get it. Unless.
I wonder if Dylan could access something about them on that laptop, she wondered.
(Bumping.
@urban you changed your name back! I remember that from when you joined this RP.)
(Okay, admittedly this has kind of died… But I don't want it to!
I'll just wait…)
(Lol yep! And yeah, this pretty much died. Should we just go on for now without Shadow?)
(I suppose. Idk what we can do, though.)
(idk either lol)
(What a lovely bunch we are. Lol.
No one has any idea what to do…
I guess Avery could find the Eon Stone.
She wouldn't show/tell anyone about it, though.)
