(No. Oscar, yes, but I don't think we ever saw Avery's.)
(I'll post it, then. I'm not sure how much is on it, though, so it might not be very good.)
(oof sorry, ran out of time yesterday to really respond to anything)
(That's fine! Don't worry about it.)
(She has another friend by the name of Dylan? Cool!
Dylan Fox, lol.)
(Lol. Yup! He's actually her best friend's boyfriend. We're ignoring the fact that she has a boyfriend here… Actually, I think they've broken up by now…)
(Nift!
Are we just waiting for answers from others?)
(So when do we wanna get back on the path to the thing that we came to Botswana for?)
(Maybe after we finish in the basement? They could possibly find something(s) that could help them…)
(Sorry here now)
Vaughn had walked slowly through the basement. He would look at different things, but not touch. He squinted at a small vial filled with a red liquid. “Don’t think so,” he responded to Avery.
Avery hummed and went back to looking around. "If anyone finds something that might be useful, let the rest of us know, would you?"
Kaz just gave a thumbs up, occupying himself with poking at different things he found. A few times he almost tripped, resulting in some angry words from Kaon
Dylan pre-occupied himself with various theories and courses of action.
One: Dylan could simply find a monitor and access the data himself. It'd be fun finding one, but once he had it, he could probably get something.
Two: Dismiss the place entirely, and instead head back up and hit the road. They've wasted enough time.
Three: Go to sleep. He was still feeling tired from last night.
Or four….
"Kaz, when you're done tripping on wires, can you read electrical signals? Like, interpret them?"
"Uh, yeah? What do you need me to look at?" Kaz asked, brushing himself off after having tripped yet again and fallen directly onto a dusty old toolbox
After a short glance around with his light, Dylan pointed at an open sensor port, "Can you see what this computer's sayin? Might be our ticket to whatever Artemis figured out. From there, we can make a better planned out move."
Hopefully, Dylan added in his head, We don't fry Kaz or bring out his evil buddy boy. Vaughn wouldn't be happy with me if I decided to knock him out or blind him.
(Just read 40-45….. Good times….)
(Oh, yes. That was one of my favorite parts. :)
(Talk about shock, though. It got turned around really fast….)
(Oof. Yes. It definitely did… Poor E…)
(Oof. Oof… Gosh, yeah… This whole thing is just a mash of different feels..)
(Oof yeah)
Kaz shrugged. “I read electrical fields and the travel of electricity, but I guess I could try…” he mumbled, trailing off as he began to poke at the computer
“Just do what you can. Hopefully, you will be able to find something that could help us,” Avery said as she slowly walked around a table, inspecting the objects she saw.
Wishing for the thousandth time that he had something to access the computers with, he left Kaz to interpret the computer's data and approached Vaughn and Avery.
"If he finds anything, let me know. I'm gonna head back up, get our gear together."
He started towards the elevator shaft, drumming up code for a replacement in the process.
Avery looked up at him and nodded, smiling a little. “Sure. Be careful up there, okay? Call if you need anything. I’ll be listening for you. She pulled her hair behind her ears to reveal furry, pointed, silver ones, much like a cat’s.
