Cicada walked into the lunch room and had no idea where to go, on one hand there was Uriah, but that seemed kind of weird. On the other hand she could sit alone, and just deal with whoever's near her. She got into the line figuring she could decide later.
"One Last Time." They said in unison, then continued, actually saying the words this time. Riverpaw normally wouldn't have sung in front of someone else, but she was in a good mood and Danielle was with her, so she didn't think much of it. Danielle slid into the seat right next to Uriah, not really thinking about it, and Riverpaw sat next to her.
"You guys are good," If Uriah sang they would be covering their ears right about now. Never will he ever sing in front of anyone. "Have you thought about starting a band?"
Danielle's singing morphed into a giggle, and Riverpaw sighed. "I've suggested it many times, but Riverpoo doesn't sing in front of others." Danielle said, patting the wolf's head. "Besides, we aren't that good; we just sing to pass time sometimes. Thank you for the compliment, though."
"You must not have ever had good vegetables then," Aram said, "Anything can be delicious if cooked right."
He looked at the clock sitting out on the dresser. "Oh, it's about dinner time. Did you want to go?"
“Sure, lead the way,” Amai nodded, standing. He opened the door for Aram.
Cicada got her food and looked around, Uriah it was. Wait, Danielle was there. Did Uriah have a teeny tiny (massive) crush on her? Maybe she should just sit alone.
Uriah saw Cicada in the crowd and waved her over. She didn't have many friends so he felt a bit bad for her. And Riverpaw and Danielle won't mind.
Cicada had a small grin as she walked over, "Hey."
"Heyyy!" Danielle said happily, and Riverpaw gave a small wave.
Cicada sat down at the table, "How are you guys?"
"Come eat with us." Uriah took a bite of his food a d still though food up here was gross, he did manage to swallow it though. "Don't eat it." He looked to Cicada, she probably wouldn't like it as well.
Danielle gave Cicada a thumbs up, already having some food in her mouth. "Good." Riverpaw replied, lifting a sandwich to her mouth.
"Fine," Cicada looked to Uriah, "Also are you being a picky baby again?"
"I am not a picky baby." He leaned forward on his elbows. "I just don't thing the food here is good." Uriah looked Cicada in the eyes and narrowed his. Is she really going to do this, right now?
Cicada smirked slightly, yes she was going to do this right now. She took a bit of her food, it tasted fine to her, "I don't find it gross. You're just a picky baby, always have been."
Danielle snickered, swallowing her food to smirk at Uriah. "Picky baby." She said in a baby-ish tone, giving his arm a gentle poke.
Says the princess who was spoiled with everything she wanted! he hoped she could hear him. Should I share with the other that they are in the presence of the princess of the under world. I'm sure they would love to hear about it. He smirked at her still not moving his eyes away. This probably looked weird to Riverpaw and Danielle, but to Uriah and Cicada ot was completely normal.
Cicada's eyes were narrowed and she focused on sending her message back hoping it would work, Then I guess I can tell them that your my fiancé. Wouldn't Danielle love to hear that?
You're both insufferable. Durbin joked.
And, yes, I can hear you both! He beamed into their minds. He looked at the girls. "What's up?" He said, aloud.
(Wait, this RP's still a thing? :D)
Don't you dare! He finally looked away from her completely irritated. "We should go do something after school." He wanted to just go with Danielle, but inviting everyone wasn't so bad.
Cicada had heard Durbin, but chose to ignore that. She nodded, "That sounds fun."
Durbin took out his Grimoire, muttering something into it, and a plate with buttered lobster lying on a bed of salted greens, with mashed potatoes and a roll to the side. A glass of orange juice manifested in his hand.
