"s-stay there." He lightly placed his hand on her's. "i was kinda hoping that you would tell me what happened? I was at a book shop and then the next thing I know, i got a call…"
Aelia was hoping he would tell her. "I- I don't know… I don't even know where I am." She felt so small. "I went to the- the coffee shop. The one where we met. And then I- I don't know. Saturn?" she wanted to hear his voice. She wanted some sort of safety, and at that exact moment, Saturn was her safety.
"Im here, im here…" He smiled shyly and held her hand tightly. "Sorry Aelia the only thing i know is that, well, you passed out…" Saturn didnt want to talk about their fight earlier.
"Can you stay? Please?" Aelia felt so childish and helpless. She could barely remember what had happened before the coffee shop. Aelia remembered the fight. Why couldn't she forget that of all things. She felt Saturn's presence pressing towards her own. And she was eternally grateful for it. At least he's here.
"of course…" He said softly. im just gonna let her rest, and not stress her out with the whole fight thing Sat kissed Aelia's forehead.
Aelia murmured a soft thank you. She looked at Saturn with wide eyes. She wanted to tell him so very badly, but she didn't have the strength to do anything so instead she just looked at him. He was staying. And Aelia was comforted by the thought.
"No problem…" Sat smiled for a second and let Aelia rest. As she drifted off, he whispered, "I love you."
Aelia fell back asleep, this time more peacefully since Saturn was at her side. She thought she heard Saturn whisper something to her, but was unsure of what it was.
Just in case, Sat turned himself invisible and that was a great idea. Cause right after Aelia fell asleep, Sat too was feeling a little sleepy, and he nodded of. About 10 minutes later a nurse came and woke him up.
Aelia woke up the next day and saw that Saturn had left. Although a bit disappointed, she was glad that he was able to sleep. And knowing him, he was going to return.
Sat heard Aelia wake up and appeared back at the chair that he fell asleep in.
Aelia got up and saw Saturn in the chair. "Wha? How's you do that?" She was mildly confused but happy to see him.
Saturn softly giggled and sighed. "That's kinda my power.."
"Ohhh yeaahh" Aelia said. "Mine is just magic. See?" She tried to summon the glass of water next to her, but couldn't. "Uhh, or maybe not then."
Sat took her hand. "You need to rest." Suddenly his phone started ringing. "Oh sorry…" he stood up. "Its my cousin.. He almost never calls me?…" Saturn walked out for a moment, but came back almost immediately. "Huh… He uhm… Is getting married to his soulmate… In a-a week." Sat scratched the back of his head. "He invited me too… And i know its weird of me to ask you to come too, cause we still havent talked about the fight yet… But i'd appreciate it if you would come.."
Aelia looked at Saturn. "Of- of course." She nodded. "But we- I think- we need to talk first. When I go home, of course. Also, when can I go home?? I feel fine now." She was anxious to talk to him. Because she knew. She knew that she had fallen for Saturn.
Sat blushed. Wow, he hasnt felt this way since the day they met…
"Ill go and ask the doctor.."
Aelia nodded, slightly. "Okay. Thanks, Sat." She watched as he left the room and sighed. She still wasn't sure what had happened when she passed out. And frankly, she didn't care anymore. If anything, it was good. Maybe not the going to the hospital part, but getting through the awkwardness with Saturn she was expecting was good. Although he wasn't about to be mad at a hospitalized person… Aelia chuckled lightly at the thought.
Saturn came back shortly after. "Well i dont have to hide anymore, im officially your visitor now…" He chuckled. "Anyway, they said that they will let you go home in an hour or so, but they need someone to look after you.."
Aelia laughed. "That makes sense. I suppose you could be the person who looks after me?" she asked him. It felt weird asking to be taken care of. "Even though I don't really think I need that." she muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes.
"you very much need that." Saturn sat next to her. "of course i'll look after you…" Sat scratched the back of his head. "So the fight…?"
"Yeah right. I don't need that." she grumbled. "Although I'm okay with it, since it's you." she looked at Saturnus. "But yes, the fight. Look, I'm sorry. I'm really really sorry. I just needed a moment, but I did it wrong and afterwards I was so scared that I had messed everything up and-" she stopped. "And I didn't want to lose you. I was scared that I had lost you." Aelia lowered her voice and whispered what she had been thinking for so many days. "I think I'm in love with you."
Sat took a small second to take a breath. He smiled and leaned towards her. “I KNOW im in love with you…”
Aelia smiled. "How could you possibly know that? We're not even soulmates! People will judge us for that." she said. She had never wanted more than that moment for him to be her soulmate. Then, she wouldn't have to worry about anything. She'd be able to get married and not have to worry. It would be so much easier. She looked at Saturn and glanced at his lips, thinking about kissing him.
Sat smiled softly and leaned in for a kiss, but before their lips could touch, he said. "But, how do you know that we are not soulmates?"
