@Spider-man
Finn laughed. "Yeah I guess you can be but like I was practically an only child for the majority of my life since we are that far apart," He said.
Finn laughed. "Yeah I guess you can be but like I was practically an only child for the majority of my life since we are that far apart," He said.
"True." Jay replied with a smile, kissing Finn's cheek. "Still, though."
Finn nodded. "Then again Willow was practically my sister." He said laughing slightly. "Now whats your deepest desire?" He asked exaggerating the deepest desire part.
Jay laughed. He blinked. "Right now? I don't…" he trailed off, thinking for a long moment. "Graduate and get away from my father." he finally admitted quietly.
Finn nodded and held him closer. "you could do part of that now," He said resting his head on his shoulder.
"I can't stay here forever." Jay said softly. "Not with your aunt."
"you still have your mom. you both can get away," he whispered.
He shook his head a little bit. "What, and be homeless on the streets? My mom doesn't have any money to pay for anywhere to stay, and neither do I."
Finn closed his eyes. "Jay your father could go to jail. He hurt you. dont worry about money we'll figure something out," He tried. A doorbell rang throughout the house and Finn let go of him. "put on your shirt I'll be right back." He stood up.
Jay nodded a little. "I…" he nodded again, and shifted away from Fionn, putting his shirt back on. He wondered who was here.
Finn walked out of the room. When the door opened he saw his aunt. there was a pause where she was looking around to see if Jay was around. she didn't see him so she started talking. "Why didn't my key work?" She asked half yelling. she was just being loud enough for Jay to overhear. Finn spoke but he wasnt loud enough for Jay to hear.
Jay took a deep breath, his eyes flashing wide for a moment. He grabbed up the cream again, putting it on his cheek again, and pulled his sketchbook out, moving to sit at Finn's desk. He didn't know if the aunt would come in here or not, but he didn't want to look guilty.
Finn hid his hand but it was glowing slightly. His aunt saw in the middle of her rant about responsibility. She grabbed his wrist. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked. Finn stayed silent. His aunt appeared in Finn's bedroom doorway. Finn stayed in the kitchen praying that he used the cream.
"I'm sorry hun but you have to go home a little early. we have a family emergency. I'll email the teacher to get an extension if you guys dont have time to finish," She said in an overly sweet voice.
(i gtg to bed now)
Jay blinked, and packed up. He grabbed his hoodie. "Oh. Alright." he replied slowly. He looked at Finn. "I uhm…see you at school tomorrow." he said softly. He would have to walk home.
(gn)
Finn waved with his not glowing hand. He had his head down. His cheek was slightly red. He remembered that Jay would give to walk. ”can I at least give Jay a ride home?” He asked his aunt.
Jay bit his lip. "I don't have a car, I usually take the bus. If he can't drive me, I'll have to walk for like…a long time." He added, shifting on his feet.
His aunt nodded. “Ok fine I’ll watch Poppy just be quick,” she said. Finn nodded and walked to the door. He put his hand in his pocket to hide He fact that his hand glowed brighter near Jay.
Jay followed Finn out the door, his backpack slung over his shoulders.
Finn walked to his car not saying anything.
Jay followed Finn to the car. "Are…are you alright?" he asked slowly, studying his soulmate.
“Yeah I’m fine. Sorry you have to go home early,” Finn said not looking at Jay. His left cheek had a red handprint in it but it was already fading.
"It's okay." Jay replied softly. "I…" He spotted the mark, and reached out, gently brushing his fingers on Finn's cheek. "Did your aunt do this?" He asked quietly, frowning a little.
Finn blinked and turned his head away. “It’s fine don’t worry about it,” he said starting the car and driving away.
"Finn…" Jay trailed off, not sure what to say. "I…I'm sorry." He looked out the window. This is my fault. He swallowed.
Finn turned to him for a second. Relaxing slightly. “It’s not your fault Jay. If anything I’d be in more trouble if you weren’t there,” he admits watching the road.
