"I…can you come with me?" he asked softly.

Finn nodded. "Of course I can," Finn said glancing at Jay smiling softly.

Jay nodded a little, letting out a breath.

Finn parked in front of Jay’s house.

Jay closed his eyes for a moment.

Finn took a deep breath. The social worker was parked in front of them.

Jay opened the door.

Finn did as well getting out of the car and walking around to Jay.

Jay got out of the car, taking Finn's hand.

Finn smiled at him and held his hand as they walked to the door.

He walked with Finn.

“Do you have a key?” He asked.

He nodded, pulling it out of his pocket.

Finn let him unlock the door.

He opened the door, stepping inside.

Finn smiled and held his hand tighter following him inside.

The house was messy, quiet, and Jay was tense, holding onto Finn's hand.

Finn looked around but then kept his eyes on Jay.

Jay headed to his room, turning on the light. His bed sat against the wall, the room rather bare and empty already. He grabbed some clothes and other things he wanted to keep, putting them in a bag.

Finn looked around. “Do you need any help?” He asked.

He shook his head, taking a deep breath. He was so used to being scared while in this room that it was hard to shake that, hard to feel okay and safe again.

Finn wrapped an arm around him lightly.

Jay leaned into him, letting out a slow breath and closing his eyes.

"You're safe now," He whispered smiling softly and kissing the top of his head.

"I know. I just…" he trailed off, staying pressed close.
