Beau chuckled softly as Vien spoke of his family, suddenly wishing that he could have done something to keep them alive. If he could have done something then Vien wouldn't be in foster care. But, it was pointless to hope that. It wouldn't change anything. Shaking his head faintly at himself, Beau smiled and pressed a soft kiss to Vien's collarbone. "I wish I could have met them. They sound amazing," He said softly.
“Yeah. They would have l-loved you, I think,” Vien mumbled, letting out a soft sigh as he laid back down next to Beau. He wrapped his arms around him, burying his face in Beau’s collarbone as he smiled
Beau tugged Vien closer as he pressed a few soft kisses to their neck, completely forgetting about the pain in his chest. Being with Vien helped him forget about most of the stressful things in life. "You're one of the best you things that has happened to me in a while. . ." He murmured as he continued to kiss Vien's neck and jawline.
Vien felt something warm creep into his chest, and he looked up at Beau with eyes full of love and admiration. "Do you…Do you m-mean that?" he asked softly
"I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it," Beau answered, a soft smile spreading across his face as he tugged Vien closer. He leaned forward and nuzzled his head into Vien's shoulder, closing his eyes for a few moments.
"Well…I think you're the best thing to e-ever happen to me," Vien murmured, letting his eyes close happily as he snuggled against Beau. He would admit he was a little tired. Being an insomniac never helped anything, but being with Beau just made him feel so safe that he couldn't help but feel tired
Beau wanted to say the words, 'I love you,' but he didn't know how Vien would react to that. What if he didn't feel the same way? Though, Beau felt so at peace and a little tired with Vien next to him, as if all his problems had just disappeared. Instead, he wrapped his arms around Vien's waist and tugged him closer, pressing a few kisses to their neck and cheek.
Vien could feel himself dozing off a little, and he relaxed a little into Beau's hold as a small smile worked its way across his face. "Love you," he mumbled, barely audible through his faint anxiety at saying the words and his tiredness
"I-" Beau paused as he opened his eyes for a few moments, his gaze studying Vien's features again. "I love you too." He finished, pressing a soft kiss to Vien's forehead as he rested his head on their shoulder.
Vien cracked an eye open, grinning up at Beau as he heard the words. "Get some sleep, l-love. I'll be here," he mumbled, pressing a kiss to his nose before letting his eyes close again
Beau nodded faintly, one of his hands ran through Vien's dark hair as he closed his eyes once again. After a few minutes, he had managed to doze off, his breathing turning into something soft.
Vien made sure that Beau had fallen asleep before letting himself doze off. He couldn't help but feel protective over him, especially after the incident that had bruised and beaten him so badly
(Should we timeskip to later?)
(yeah, timeskip would make sense)
Beau opened his eyes faintly as he looked up at Vien, his arms still wrapped around their waist. A small yawn escaped his lips, his white-blond hair falling across his face as he pressed himself against Vien's chest again.
Vien made a soft noise as he woke up, stifling a yawn as he realized he was still next to Beau. He hated how easily he woke up sometimes. "Mornin', love," he mumbled
Beau made a small noise in response as he winced a little, pushing himself up a little as he lifted the hem of his shirt. He furrowed his brow faintly when he noticed that the bruises had gotten darker, but the painkillers would surely help.
Vien rolled onto his stomach, still draped across Beau. He leaned forward a little, pressing a few gentle kisses to the bruises on Beau's skin. "Do you need more p-painkillers?" he asked softly
Beau nodded faintly, though Vien's kisses did make the bruises feel better somehow. He leaned back against one of the pillows, trying to steady his breathing in order to not hurt his chest.
Vien pressed a few more kisses to the bruises, smiling against Beau's skin. He rather liked being affectionate, especially if it was helping. He slid off the bed, pressing a quick kiss to Beau's lips before stretching. "I've got some pain cream too, if that would h-help," he suggested with a shrug. He didn't normally bother with it because it never helped him, but it might make Beau feel a little better
"I could try it," Beau answered softly, already missing Vien's presence next to him. He shifted a little on the bed, managing to swing his legs over the edge and onto the ground. A small yawn escaped his lips as he rubbed his eyes tiredly and ran a hand through his messy hair.
"Okay," Vien murmured, walking into the bathroom to grab the pain cream. "You want me to put it on f-for you?" he asked gently as he set the cream down on the nightstand. He had grabbed a glass of water as well, and he reached for the painkillers on the nightstand so Beau didn't have to move too much
"Yeah, if you could…" Beau mumbled as he tugged his shirt off completely, deciding that it would be easier. He shifted in the bed nervously as he pushed himself into a sitting position, leaning against the wall behind him. Beau felt a little vulnerable without anything covering the bruises and scars on his body, but he was with Vien. It would be alright.
"Here, take these f-first," Vien said, taking two pills out of the painkiller bottle and handing them to Beau with the glass of water. He set the cream on his lap as he sat down next to Beau
Beau downed the painkillers with the water, closing his eyes for a few moments as if to check if it was working already. "I swear, these painkillers are my new best friend," He mumbled, opening his eyes again to look at Vien.
