"Good luck," Lucky said as he gave her a reassuring smile, noticing the faint joke in his words. He could never say the world lucky without anyone comparing it to him. "Thanks for the drinks, Lis." He added, finally turning around after a few moments.

@Lenered

"Yeah. Feel free to help yourself and your brother. I'll be somewhere in here if you need me. By the way, I heard Alice was sort of interested in you. Go flirt with her or something." Lisbet waved and mustered up some courage to talk to Acadius. He's not going to hurt you. He'll just be angry. Come on.

"Mint chocolate chip," Vien answered simply. "You know what? Since you're the f-first person in this entire town to be nice to me, I think I'll b-buy you a milkshake," he said, a small smile spreading across his face

"No, no, it's okay," Beau shook his head as he tugged on the fabric of his jacket, taking the cigarette out of his mouth. "Really, you don't have to."

@_sleeby_rat_

"No, I do," Vien insisted. "Please? I never have anyone to b-buy things for. Just humor me?" he said, sounding less and less sure of himself the more he talked. He really did want to thank Beau for being as nice to him as he had, but he was also worried he might be offended by the gesture

Beau bit his bottom lip softly as he thought, but after a few moments, he finally nodded. He twirled his cigarette between his fingers as he looked towards Vien, a small smile tugging the corners of his lips up. "Thanks," He added, glad that Vien thought that he had been nice. After all, Beau had been trying to be kinder to others.

(Are you sure? We'd love to have you.)
(At this point, everyone's still meeting at the diner, so you wouldn't be late at all.)

Vien seemed to almost light up at that. He waved a waitress over to their table, ordering their milkshakes quickly before turning back to Beau. He didn't think he had ever smiled this much, but he wasn't complaining. Beau was nice, and kind of cute. And he seemed to be okay with talking to him, so he was sure that had to make them at least friends

Beau looked towards Vien, running a hand through his hair in an attempt to fix it. All it did was make it fall across his eyes again. He glanced down at his hands again, trying to keep a broad grin from spreading across his face. "So, see any cute girls?" He asked after a moment, part of him hoping that Vien didn't.

Vien tilted his head in a confused manner before glancing out across the crowd. He scanned the diner for a moment, looking at the various girls in the building. Then a small bolt of fear hit him. He didn't find…any girls cute. At all. So what was he going to tell Beau? He didn't want to lie. "Not…Not r-really," he finally admitted

"Really?" Beau asked, his tone almost too quick. He shook his head and cursed himself for sounding so relieved as he cleared his throat. "I mean, there are some cuter girls at school. Most of the Social girls wear too much makeup. . ." He explained, slipping his cigarette back in his mouth as if to shut himself up.

"Well, I mean, I don't normally c-care. I don't usually find any girls attractive," Vien said softly, suddenly feeling self-conscious in the booth. He ducked his head a little out of habit, resting his chin in one palm

"I mean, I don't really either," Beau explained after a short pause, finally turning to face Vien. He had never had anyone to talk to about how he really felt about other people. No one understood. "Lucky doesn't get it. I-I don't really want to talk to the rest of the Greasers about it either." He added, stumbling over a few of his words.

@_sleeby_rat_

“Well…You can talk to me about it,” Vien suggested quietly. “I mean, if y-you want to, of course,” he added quickly

(Most of the characters are at the diner, so just put them there.)

"I…don't know how to explain it exactly," Beau began, sighing as he ran a hand through his hair. "I've never really been into girls." Though, he had plenty of girlfriends in the past, but that was mostly because the Greasers had set him up with them. He wanted to say more, but he stopped and continued to let his cigarette hang from his mouth.

"I…I've never really been into girls either," Vien said softly. A smile twitched at the corner of his lips as he looked up at Beau. "Guess that's one thing we h-have in common."

((Okie))
Lavi walked into the diner, awkwardly standing by the door. She didn't imeditly see anyone she recognized who wasn't already in discussion, so she slid into a chair, observing the surrondings.
