Asura stared at the cloud of smoke, blinking. "I.. he's lying he's got to be lying," he said, turning to the others. "I mean, Milo is dead. And he's male. And I'M male. And I'm a god. A-and what about the one sixteenths unidentified??? What the fuck?" He looked at Zoe, then back at the others again while pointing at her. "I don't know what that is but it's not my daughter, I refuse to believe that. I would've known if I made a baby!"

(naw it works) Pluto folded her arms. "Well somehow someone did something with you and this Milo guy to make that," she gestured at Zoe

Asura sputtered. "B-but baby making! You don't forget something like that! I would've remembered." He looked closely at Zoe, who was flattened against the wall and looking down. She did have Milo's eyes, and Asura's aura.

"Okay, well if demon kings need magic to have kids, did this Milo happen to be good with magic?"

"Yeah, he was a warlock," he said, scoffing as if it were common sense. Then his face fell when he realized what he had just said. "Oh shit."

"Well then."

Zoe looked up. "Are you guys… still going to kill me?"

Mike sheathed his knife and stretched. "Your call, Asura."

"I uh… I think we should wait," he said, not really sure what to do anymore.

"All right. Shall we get back to Pluto's place? It's late, and some of us have complicated dietary needs that we should probably attend to."

He glanced back at Red. "Ah, right. Yeah." He looked over at Zoe, then twirled his staff. A gold fire swept over her, and she was gone. He placed his staff back in the dimensional pocket and began to make his way back to the truck. "She'll be trapped inside the staff until we can figure out what to do with her."

Mike raised an eyebrow and tried to hide a smile. "I can already tell you're going to be a great father."

Asura snorted and hopped into the truck. "Let's get out of here."
