Asura glared. "You shouldn't be feeding on any of us. That's disgusting." He nearly growled at her with his words, but felt a anxious twist in his gut when he looked at her. She looked… human. And weak. And very exhausted.

"Well if I'm stuck here, I'll end up feeding on one of you guys. However, if I am allowed to go with you, I have the opportunity to feed on others."
He made a face. "Well… it definitely won't be me. That's for sure."
Pluto frowned. "Yeah no, no way you're sucking my blood. Not sure how that would go and I don't wanna find out."
"You probably don't want their blood anyway," Mike said matter-of-factly. "Unless demonic or angelic blood is good for you, I'm the only option you have. And I'm all right with giving a little every now and then until we figure out a better solution. We might as well just bring the IV with us, for the sake of hygiene."
Pluto chuckled. "Yeah, don't want some kind of vampiric blood disease."
"Heck no. So, are we agreed that she's coming with us? We're burning daylight."
She sighed. "I guess. Just lemme get geared up and dressed, I'll be back." (I also might have to disappear for like 40 minutes)
"All right." (All right)
"Don't worry. When I am in control, I will not feed unless authorized." Red stated, standing up slowly from the sofa.
Mike nodded. "I appreciate it. But what do you mean by 'in control', exactly?""
Red sighed, but elaborated, "The red in my hair is my level of hunger. When the line of red takes up the entirety of my hair, I will lose control over myself and feed on any living being closest to me. However, my control can also be overridden by extreme rage."
"I get it. Good to know." Mike took out a small notepad and wrote that down. "Don't mind me if I take some notes, I like to stay prepared in case I meet someone like you later who isn't so friendly."
"Ah." Red nodded her head. "Don't worry. I'm used to it. The note-taking" She scratched the back of her arm to release her nerves. She couldn't let emotions get to her now of all times.
"I know, it's insensitive of me," Mike conceded, putting away the notepad. "I'll try not to do it very often."
(I gotta go for a while, be back later)
Pluto came walking down the hall, clunky combat boots stomping towards them. She had a duffel bag slung over her shoulder, and she swept a hand threw her hair. "Okay, I'm ready to go."
Asura frowned. "Are you really going to carry that?" He asked, gesturing to her back.
Pluto rolled her eyes. "You're seriously asking the angel that question?"
"I'm just saying, you could store it in a dimensional pocket," he suggested.
Pluto restrained herself from flinching. "Uh, I prefer carrying stuff. Don't wanna freak any mortals out pulling a duffel bag out of thin air."
"Whatever floats your boat." Mike tucked his new knife into his belt. "We walking or taking some wheels? Something inconspicuous, I imagine, since this is a scouting mission."
Red had made her way over to the door and was leaning against the wall while waiting for the others to get everything they need. She impulsively tried reaching down to grab at the hilt of a sword, but her hand went through the empty air. To cover up this inconvenience, she wrapped her arm around her belly and rested her hand on her hip. "Are you all ready to leave now?"
"I am," Mike said. "Do you need anything from here before we leave? Medicine, warmer clothes, anything like that? You still look a bit unsteady."
"I guess some better clothes would be nice. It would be hard to pass as a normal person in these," Red gestured to her blood-stained and ripped clothes.
"I'm sure Pluto can supply you with something practical," Mike said, eyeing Pluto. "After that, I believe we're all ready."
(lol Mike goes from being a sensitive soul who sticks up for the underdog, to an insensitive jerk who orders ppl around in their own houses in like five seconds flat XD)
