"Somebody has to hook to vampire up. She's barely conscious."
"Somebody has to hook to vampire up. She's barely conscious."
Mike reached over and carefully did so. "Wonder what happened to her."
Red gasped as she felt the blood travel through her veins. She took a shaky breath through her nose and out her mouth several times. The red slowly but surely travelled back down the ends of her hair until it disappeared completely, only leaving a red undertone as any indication that it was ever there.
Asura observed, interested in what was going on. "Huh," he said.
(I have to go for an hour or so, sorry guys)
"Feel better?" Mike asked.
(It's all good)
Breathing steadily, she sat up "Yesss" she hissed out in appreciation.
(ok I return) Michael unhooked. "Ok, well I'm gonna go sleep for a week, bye." He stomped back off to his room
"Thanks…" Red trailed off as her blood-provider walked off.
"So… who are you?"
"And why should I not be stabbing you right now?" Pluto grumbled
Almost seeming to go into a trance, Red answered, "I am Mary-Ann, designation 12ED. I am from section 4 and labs V.A.M.P." Violently, she shook her head to dispel the memories of clean robes, straps, and unnaturally sanitary.
Pluto's expression went almost hilariously blank. "What."
"I think I might have heard of that… I'm not sure though."
"I repeat. What?"
"Government secret experiment on vampirism. I was one of the only successes."
"That's a little… messed up"
"Uh, well then. Guess that qualifies you for being…not stabbed."
Mike stirred. "And what did they want vampires for, may I ask?"
(Night, guys. That was a good run, I hope we can continue it tomorrow)
Red seemed to stop functioning as she rolled over the question but finally came upon a simple answer, "War" she spoke deftly.
"Hm. Guess that makes sense." Mike sighed. "We humans coulda warned 'em about trying to use magical beings as super-soldiers. In our experience, it just didn't work."
Pluto flinched at the mention of war. Now that was something she wouldn't tolerate
"Using supernatural creatures for anything has and never will go well," she spat
Red nodded gravely in agreement to the girl's comment.
