"The other one? No idea. But it shouldn't be too hard to find them."
"The other one? No idea. But it shouldn't be too hard to find them."
"Oh, wonderful. Our priorities should be cleaning up the god's mess and then going after him," Cas said
Mike nodded. "We've got the fire out and the people from the nearest town will help patch up the woods here," he said. "By the way, mind if I help find this god with you? I'm interested in maintaining balance in the universe."
Cas shrugged. "Be my guest. It's sort of my job to help clean up this specific type of mess, but it wouldn't hurt to have help."
"I'm coming with whether you like it or not, just so you're aware," Yvette said.
Cas would have rolled his eyes if he had them. "Lovely. Let's hope you aren't a deadweight."
"Well, you're the one who was originally after him, so that only makes sense," Mike said. "Any idea where he might go next, or do you have some way of tracking him?"
"Well it would take a little time, but I can track him."
"Not exactly. I was supposed to be able to capture him here," she said, running a hand through her hair and starting to pace. "But I'm assuming he would go to a weaker dimension. We know he wants to destroy a significant dimension, but he's not strong enough to destroy this one yet. Is there any place you can think of that he would target?"
(are you talking to Mike or Cas?)
(both)
(k)
Mike shrugged. "I'm not too familiar with any dimensions besides this one. I have no idea how significant it is compared to any other."
(brb, back in just a minute)
(okay)
Cas frowned. "Well, that narrows things down a little. There's a possibility he may go for one of the lesser universes, such as Blackwash. There's also the possibility the jade may drive him to aim for one of the more powerful dimensions, like Molhaven. There are several options that we have to consider."
"Okay," Yvette said, nodding and trying to think. "You said you could track him. How can you do that? And how long would it take?"
"Well, I have a contact who specializes in interdimensional tracking and travel. The most obvious option would be to contact him."
(sorry that was a bit longer than a minute) "There's a radio and a land line back at the base, if your tracker's in the country," Mike offered.
Cas nodded. "He's not currently in this dimension, but the radio would be helpful in contacting him."
"All right. Both of you hop in a jeep and head back with us. The sooner we pinpoint the crazy god's location the better."
(gtg for like two hours)
(gtg for like two hours)
Cas nodded, walking towards the jeep
(Okie) The hunters loaded up and drove back to town to let the locals know what had happened. Then they returned to camp and started patching themselves up. Most had escaped major injury, but a few had burns or broken bones that landed them in the sick bay.
Mike led Cas and Yvette to the main building and into the radio room attached to it. "She's all yours. I'll be out in the main room, there's some rescheduling I gotta do. Let me know when you're done."
Cas nodded. He made note of the radio room before turning on his heel and walking out of the door. The smell of blood was tangible, and he followed it to the sick bay. He fiddled with the band on his arm, making sure the medical cross was visible. He opened the doors, silently hoping that no one would try to shoo him out
