"Um…go from this," Pluto said, gesturing at Asura, "to this." She made a small gesture with her hand. "Give me break, I can't English well in the morning!" she huffed

Mike's eyes narrowed. "I would hate," he said slowly, "to have to tell you that one of my hunters stole it. It was my understanding that they were all better than that. But if you're telling the truth, and you haven't lost it yourself…."
He stopped. His gaze drifted over Asura's shoulder, focusing on the still-open gate. "What the–"
"I'm afraid I took it," came a friendly, accented voice. "I do hope you'll forgive me, Asura."
Asura followed his gaze, eyes narrowed. He had an overwhelming urge to attack the person that said they had stolen the staff, but he held himself back.
It was a tall man in a suit, with neat dark hair and pale grey eyes. He held the staff casually, without a trace of unfriendliness in his expression. It was Lonan Blake, Clay's friend.
"Good morning," he said.
Pluto whipped around to look at the person. "If you really caused this before coffee I will stab you."
Asura let out an involuntary growl. He attempted to calm himself down and change back to a human form, but it wasn't working.
"Y'know what? Gonna stab you anyways," Pluto said, flicking her wrist. A large black and silver machete appeared in her hand
Blake laughed. "Goodness, you're all so aggressive! I assure you I just want to talk. Asura can have his staff afterwards."
"No," he said, stepping toward the man. "I want it now."
Blake raised his eyebrows. "Now, let's not be uncivilized, shall we?" Something changed in the air around him. as if he were a mirage. A whisper of energy, a gentle warning, rippled out from him like mist off ice. "We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."
"Listen to the flamey guy. I'm not in a good mood," Pluto said, twirling the machete idly
"No, we wouldn't. But someone will if you don't hand over what's mine."
Blake's expression didn't change. "I see," he said amiably. "I was hoping, since you're both familiar with the various dimensions, that you might be more observant. Do you mean to tell me that neither of you could identify what I was back at Clay's office?"
"Undead. You seemed undead," Pluto said, amazed that she was actually able to form the sentence in English
Asura shifted his wings, molten gold dripping from the ends. "I didn't really care, so I wasn't paying attention."
Blake chose to ignore Asura's comment. "Undead, eh? An interesting deduction. You probably picked up on the veil I cast over my power. Well, I won't be dramatic about it, unlike some. I am the god of this galaxy, and this dimension. My true name is Zhan, the Matter-Changer. I have manifested here today because I know of your plans, and I wish to….help you." He smiled. "It's good to meet you."
Asura suddenly shuddered at the mention of him being undead. His flames died down a bit. "Don't trust him," he said.
(wow okay so i'm too lazy to read through this lol. what happened? where are the characters?? help please i'm sorry)
(Heyy we're still at camp, same morning, Asura's staff got stolen by this guy Blake, who's actually a god, and now Blake is attempting to make a deal with them, details not yet disclosed. I think you're character's still asleep rn?)
"Oh, lovely. Don't tell me you're a guardian," Pluto said. She was hoping she wouldn't run into any more guardians or gods on this trip, but with her luck she guessed it was inevitable
(oh okay great. thank you lol)
(np)
"This dimension doesn't have guardians," Blake said airily. "Troublesome things, I did away with them eons ago. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone where you are, if that's what you're worried about. I don't want any other divine beings on my property, thank-you very much."
"Got…Got rid of them? You got rid of a guardian and their court? That's not possible," she said incredulously
Red finally stirred from her sleep and quickly sat up. How long have I been asleep? She got up and quickly walked over to the (tent?) tent opening and looked outside. It was daylight, and she hissed as soon as the light hit her eyes. She grumbled and squinted against the intense light before the pain faded and she stepped out to be greeted with that Blake-person bargaining with Asura and Pluto.
Pluto's eyes went wide as she saw Red walk out. "Stay back. This guy's dangerous," she said, pointing at Blake with the machete
